Having an oled is like a part time job you have to use it accordingly to prevent burn in spending that much money not worth it best to go with the qn85a it's cheaper than the qn90a with slight sound upgrade otherwise picture detail is identical
@mechanicalmonkey77773 жыл бұрын
@@soljaboy2069 the problem people seem to have with the 85a is it uses an ads panel which is like an ips panel which means less contrast but better viewing angles .. only reason I see Samsung did this it to push people who know tech to the more expensive 90a .. but it seems even though the panel is less capable of the va panel on the 90a seems Samsung found a way to make it look great.. but because everyone was crapping on it I ended up with a 48” lg c1 when I could have got a 55” 85a… the 90a is just way to expensive for a 4K lcd tv when oled is cheaper or the same price

I've come to the fullest conclusion that a sound bar is pretty much a necessity buy with any flatscreen tv. despite the price there's just no way they can put truly decent sound into any of those unless they specifically note a speaker system separate (below or boxed behind) from the panel.And I have no doubts that that may eventually be proven wrong if it hasn't already, but sound quality in my experience just isn't something you're gonna get out of the box

Hi, I have exactly the same TV as you. Can you please tell me how to adjust the sound mode/equaliser, with no other inputs attached, just TV speakers. I can’t adjust anything, only balance and the speakers rattle bass. Half the time it is impossible to understand what an individual is saying. I was told that there are six tv speakers and that the tv speakers would work at the same time as my headphones, so that I could hear just as well as the rest of my family, but that doesn’t appear to be true. It did work on my Panasonic, of which I wish I had bought another model. Being quite deaf I needed that, but it would appear to be untrue. I also explained that I needed different sound modes and the use of an equaliser, not just balance. No luck there either. Perhaps it’s just me. Well, if you can help I would appreciate it, even to know that I was just told a big lie, by the salesperson. I cannot return this tv, so shall be stuck with it, probably until I’m dead.

Very nice and informative video David! I have one question: Since it doesn’t have Dolby vision support, how does the supported content look on it? Does it look like an SDR content or will it have some sort of static HDR goodness?
@stephenpatterson80563 жыл бұрын
HDR content should look just fine. I feel Dolby Vision is the most overhyped feature in TVs today. My current TV shipped with "only" HDR10 support and then received a software update later on that added Dolby Vision support. And guess what? Dolby Vision doesn't really look any better at all. Dolby Vision could aid a display that has difficulty in showing wide contrast because it can shift the content from scene to scene to match what the TV is capable of. On highly capable displays, that "cheat" doesn't really benefit them. I just ordered a 75" QN90A and am not concerned in the least about losing Dolby Vision support.
