*FAQ:* Q: When will it be released? A: Q1 of 2025, my guess is that it will be released with the S25 series devices in January or February, similar to the S24 series release. Q: How much will it cost? A: Unknown, but expect it to be somewhere between $1k and $4k since it competes with Apple's Vision Pro. Q: Do the controllers come with the headset? A: Unknown Q: Can I play Meta games on it? A: Only if they've been ported to work with Android XR. Some games have already been ported, like Job Simulator, but we don't know how many games will be available at launch. Drop your questions below and I'll answer what I can :)

I think apple made a mistake with their price point. They might as well make it cheaper and steal the market. Thats why apples vision pro kinda flopped

Some question ideas: 1) What is the FOV and resolution? 2) What is the display technology? I would hope for micro OLED? 3) Does it overheat for extended use? 4) How long the battery lasts? 5) And the very important for me: can I connect it to my PC (wired/wirelessly) to experience uncompressed gameplay. Meta Quest 3 can connect to PC but it is compressed signal that comes back to the glasses. 6) Can I play games without using Steam VR? 7) Productivity/multitasking - what is the maximum number of screens I can display at once?

You have grown so much over the years. Really. An absolute pro now.

The 2 most important questions: 1. Is it comfortable/how much does it weigh? 2. Are the screens sharp enough to read small text?
@TechisodeTVАй бұрын
Great questions! I just added them to my list.

Although it won't primarily be geared towards gaming, it will still feature best in class displays from Sony, (hopefully) optimised Android XR os and a Snapdragon XR2+ gen 2 so graphics and such will still be great despite being geared towards productivity.

No mention about the AR glasses they demoed at the same time as the headset? You showed some of the footage they released which was paired to the AR glasses rather than the headset. Although maybe the glasses aren't made by Samsung, but rather Google? But I don't think that's right, I think Samsung makes the hardware for both (but details from those who got to play with these new toys at the demo event are a little unclear on who makes what).
@TechisodeTVАй бұрын
It's likely that Samsung makes both the glasses and headset, but there's very little information on the glasses at the time of making the video. And even now there's not much info out there. If we get enough details, I'll make a dedicated video for the AR glasses.

Navigation outside. I don't think thats going to happen. Gaming, potn and movies are still the only things you can do with it this headset doesnt change this. Its for developers to play around or early adopters who are deep in the google system and want to experience something new.

gays?
@RyanHill-we6ncАй бұрын
Yes gays can also use the headset
@rasbro87Ай бұрын
Until support for controllers/joysticks is added, you can use gays (in combination with finger pinching) to control the device.

When reviewing the video in the future, could you please check out the accessability features available on the device. As a vissually impared user, this technology could trully change my life if it has the right accessability features for me to use the device.
@TechisodeTVАй бұрын
Excellent question! I added it to my list of things to discuss. Are there any specific accessibility features you're looking for? Maybe asking what the headset sees in the room? Reading signs/labels?
@Gaurav_BhagchandaniАй бұрын
@TechisodeTV Thank you so much. Yes the ways it could be useful would be reading things aloud such as sign or even text on screens, navigating the world more safely, etc. The bigger concern is the accessability options available to use the device itself, rather than what it can be used for. For example, with teh headset on, how can i zoom into the screen or change font settings. How do the accessability settings of the device help me navigate it's interface. Just some information on things like that would be extremely helpful as it can be so hard to find when researching these products before making a purchase.

How much will it cost the consumer?
@TechisodeTVАй бұрын
I don't know yet, but likely somewhere between $1000 and $3500 since it competes with both the Quest Pro and Apple Vision Pro. But I wrote the question down and I'll add the price in a future Samsung XR video :)

What's the price of the Moohan headset
@TechisodeTVАй бұрын
We don't know yet, but it directly competes with Apple's Vision Pro, which starts at $3,500, and Meta's Quest Pro, which costs $1,000. So I'm guessing somewhere between those two prices. But I wrote down the question and I'll get that answer when I learn more about the headset. :)

Good tech but it looks like it does not have display port, so it is useless for those who want uncompressed PCVR gaming.
@rasbro87Ай бұрын
I can bet it is not even capable of running Google Earth VR from 2016.
