Samsung S22 Ultra Vs Samsung Note 20 Ultra - Keep it?

I have the Note 20 Ultra, the last "Note" per say that Samsung produced. It's amazing. Honestly it feels like the latest Samsung flagships have been slightly repetitive in some aspects. Like the improvements have been so minimal combined with the removal of expandable storage and an unattractive camera bump makes me happy to stay with the Note 20 Ultra. Good review btw, I love long videos that go into detail. You knocked it out of the park. Props!

Me 2! Note 20 ultra all the way. I'm a pro photographer and it takes the best raw photos out of all smartphones in my opinion. It even beats most Cannons lol

In regards to speaker everyone noticed a difference when playing music and said the note 20 ultra was better. Louder, better bass and less distortion. Playing a voice is hard to capture the range of sound.

I'm a note 20 ultra owner and have no interest in gripping the S22 NOTE. Although I will say it being ever so slightly shorter isn't noticable just like it being slightly wider than the Note 20 ultra isn't noticable. Only real difference is the ability to have 120hz refresh rate with the highest resolution which is something my note 20 ultra can't do. This small difference doesn't bother me because I usually have it on full HD and power saving on. Even then I still use 60hz. Doing those small things saves so much battery life.

I'm upgrading from a failing note 10 plus and I originally went with the 22 ultra but returned and bought a note 20 ultra for 500 refurbished that I think is just new overstock because there is zero signs of use. Expandable storage is huge for me. Good video!

if you make another video like that it would be cool to have timestamps. apart from that, good comparison. on a sidenote you can make the note 20 ultra go wqhd and 120hz with a simple ADB command.

I was planning on keeping my Note 20 Ultra but I couldn't pass down a $800 trade in value of my N20U. I find the S22 Ultra is more comfortable to use and better optimized it seems noticeable snappier to use over all than my Note I love Note series the 20 is a great phone I just prefer the S22U and personally don't need more than the 256gb storage I was only using about 60gb on my Note.

I guess Samsung is catering more to users like you, which is unfortunate for people like me. I have a 1TB S10+ with a 1TB micro sd card for 2TB of on-board storage that is just about maxed out. I didn't want a new phone but AT&T forced people to do software updates in order to make calls on some unlocked phones like the S10+. I refused to "upgrade" the software on mine so I kept it the way it was, bought a Note 20 Ultra and now carry both phones because of storage limitations. S10+ has better audio and a headphone jack so I use that for my music. Camera on S10+ is better because Gcam works really well on S10+ Android 9. Have to use stock camera app on the Note, as Gcam is too buggy on it.

I had the 128gb N20U and an 256gb SD card and barely used any of the SD card when I traded my N20U in for an S22U I just got the 512gb version and that will be way more space then I need and my entire music library is stored on it

@@AndrewJamison79 I have a lot of media on my phone. Over 600GB of music. I don't like the idea of relying solely on streaming services for music so I download and store it locally. And I typically get hi res audio files, which are much larger in size than standard mp3's. I also have movies and shows stored on my phone for offline viewing. I use my camera a lot now that I have a baby. My precious baby girl is only a year old and I already have over 300GB of photos and videos of her. I have a lot of roms downloaded as well. PS1, PS2 and Sega Dreamcast roms tend to take up quite a bit of space. I have a lot of apps and games too. That's close to 100GB of just app data. I have digital comics too. Probably another 100 to 200 gigs right there.

Congratulations on the very complete comparison... one of the best I've seen between the two devices. In the photo samples you posted here, I don't know if it was just me, but I found all the photos taken with the main camera in more detail on the Note 20 Ultra and even the colors looked more natural. I would like to know your opinion too. But that makes sense, because this year Samsung downgraded the S22 Ultra's hardware... I'll explain... This year I was very angry with the result of the flagships launched so far in terms of camera, especially with Samsung, because I have a S21 Ultra, I think it was the best in terms of photography last year, and after seeing dozens of comparisons this year, I decided to stick to comparing it with the S22 Ultra itself, and such was my disappointment to be able to prove the DOWNGRADE (the CAPADA) that Samsung made in the S22 camera in several aspects, mainly in terms of details of the photos and blurs sides, and because of that I took advantage of my channel to leave a comparison showing the INFERIORITY of the Ultra, S22 in relation to the S21, with overwhelming EVIDENCE... there and opining if you agree with what I show in the photos or if you have a different opinion. The cover was general from the manufacturers in their flags, and with that Samsung also kept quiet waiting for the S23 Ultra. Finally, I don't know if it's asking too much and if you would be able to do that, I would like to ask if you could make an updated comparison of the S22 Ultra with the Note 20 Ultra in terms of photography mainly... and putting more emphasis on the lens main and ultrawide... I believe it would be very successful if you, with both devices, could prove the things I showed on my channel on the Note 20 Ultra as well. A big hug and congratulations for your great work!

I am going to check out your video today, and yes I do agree it is a shame there isn’t really a true upgrade in camera quality, I suppose there just waiting for the big upgrade in the S23 lineup which is a shame. This years phone really appears to be an upgrade in having the spen built in only and some cosmetic changes. And yes I will try to get the note 20 ultra again to do a further camera comparison!

I’d say this , it’s definitely not a need to upgrade if you have the note 20 ultra, but if your noticing any issues with yours or battery not lasting as long, the s22 ultra is a great phone!

I personally didn't notice any difference between the two as far as s pen features I think there the same, only difference is the S22 ultra has a lower latency with the s pen.
