Is the fingerprint reader hardware locked to the board of the phone? If I replace the home button with an aftermarket one will it work properly? I know some phones have this problem due to security updates.

Could you just have procceded and removed the screen from the middle frame, and then changed the middle frame to a new one, joined the old screen in the new middle frame and put the back cover and the new one?

Where do you get the battery adhesive from ?

I have the flex disconnected from the board n pulled through the front where the screen is located but...How do I take out the home button itself? it seems to be under a black plastic?

nevermind I just broke off the ribbon n pulled it through. But i am guessing when i replace I need to heat up that plastic area and lift it to get the new home button in...
