Traded in my two G4’s for one of these, absolutely love it. All the quality of Oled but had zero of the WOLED problems so far. I highly recommend this tv especially considering the issues the G4 are having that a lot of people are strangely silent about.

I traded my S95D for the G4 and couldn"t be happier. Better build quality, 5 year panel warranty, better sound, dolby vision/DTS, more fluent webOS, full 48Gbps on all 4 hdmi ports, A11 chip offers better processing, gloss vs matt screen, 5 years of updates on webOS, better stand design for installation and removal. The list just goes on...

If you want the Samsung then get the S90D. It performs better than the S95D and is $1,000 cheaper. The only reason to get the S95D is for the better build quality.

Unfortunately for us in the UK we get the WOLED versions, while only in North America they get the QD OLED versions, one thing I can say and will say is, LG has a better 3D dimensionality to them compared to Samsung, like guns look is insanely real on LG compared to my moms S90C my LG C4 got better 3D pop it’s not even close, but unfortunately LG suffering from tint lotteries these days mine is bad, like the yellow be looking green ffs

I've been trawling the internet for hours trying to find confirmation of this either way, and there doesn't seem to be anything definitive. Samsung is indeed using WOLED for the S85D and some S90D, but nothing out there confirms it for the S95D. Where did you get your info from?

@@Philxtreme one of the ways to confirm this is on the box it says oled and no longer QD oled like on the s90c, and tbh I will always try and guide people the best way possible even if it’s QD OLED I will say this my moms 2nd gen panel QD oled still isn’t as crisp as my LG C4, but like I said there’s a lottery with the LG TV’s this year due to their green tint being so excessive that the yellows come off more green than yellow, I have to return my LG C4, but other than the panel lottery these one thing I can tell you, there’s literally no delay between the controller and TV I had to put my deadzones on 10 for cod because am not used to the instant Inputs of the sticks

@@carlosmartinez3020 There is definitely evidence that Samsung is fitting this year's S80 Series with WOLED panels bought from LG. And the production struggles on QD OLED have meant this has also happened to SOME of the S90D panels depending on the size. However I can confirm to viewers of this video interested in the S95D that no variant in any region shows evidence of WOLED use. Samsung reserved it's stock of QD OLED panels for the S95D lineup as it's their highest tier product in their OLED range

Owning both, G4 has better processing than the s95d, s95d has better color volume IMO. At the end of the day just buy whatever you like most.

Picture quality overall is a combination of factors Screen glossyness Brightness Color accuracy Motion processing Hdr effectiveness or DV Blacks and whites Sharpness Qds are known for better reds Woleds are known for better whites Companies put in soft and hardware which determines how the screen react and process. So geneally speaking one can not say if qd is better than woled, its subjective and depending on lots of other factors
