I see. There's a motion detection mode, where it will detect any motion, or you can pre-define an area (eg. door, window) where it will look for motion there.

I ended up returning mine several times. The software was glitchy and didn’t end up licking the camera. We did notice that Costco kept lowering the price every couple of weeks. The cheapest we ended getting it for was $100 after the last exchange. My wife and I ended just getting our money back. I hope it works out well for you. $90 is a good price I believe.

Bought this smart cam, works fine , good pictures etc...CONS: Will not sound the ALARM automatically when it sees intrusion like other security cam like Guardzilla (which I also have)> you get a text message when it detect intrusion, then you have to connect to the camera, go to the camera that detects the intrusion to watch LIVE action, then you PRESS MANUALLY one of the 3 options>police siren, alarm siren and barking dog to alarm; also the text message is NOT always instant to warn you> it has delays. I also recommend to Samsung to have a SPECIAL RINGTONE that you can assign to a specific camera so when you get the TEXT MESSAGE of an intrusion, you know that it comes to that specific camera on their next model. My 2 cents

Can you confirm the Frame height and Frame width of the videos it records on the SD card? Most other cameras will stream 1080 but only record 720 to the SD card. Thanks!

Hi there....bought cam. However can't get camera to work, in setup. (like you did) However all the steps are the same: All were successful. See the part where you added camera name and camera password? Time-stamp: 5:14: Then, it said: Camera registered successfully. I clicked "yes" Then right after that, what happens? Nothing for us. Closes the app. Time-stamp: 5:32 You skipped over it and went straight to setting time zone. I never could get this far. Did I miss a step, you didn't show? When I clicked "yes" after registered, the app closes and goes back to app store to original download page. Rebooted iPhone 7 PLUS, did it again.... Tried 7 times, always same thing, after registered. Can not get phone to open app to where I can see what camera sees. App keeps closing after registered. Thank you for replying, if you do. Hmm... that's strange.. i didn't skip any steps, what happens after i registered is exactly what you see in the video. It'll bring you to the time zone screen.

It means that its trying to connect to your wifi to be registered. It should turn green shortly. Otherwise, you should restart the registration again.

I have 6 of these cameras only thing I found that I really dont like is they dont work on any windows 64 bit systems and you can not view more then one at a time and I messaged samsung on the smart things app and they said there's a security issues that's why they will not add these cameras to the smart things app so they will not work with any hubs I really dont understand how they can say there Samsung cameras if Samsung dont want anything to do with them ??? Other then that they are really good cameras they do drop the internet connection often there very unstable they should be a 25$ camera not a 200$ camera but if they fix all of these thing they would be well worth the money Oh and there is no cloud storage ether there not really secure cause if someone just took the camera you would never have any proof but other then all that not bad cameras for the most part

Purchased mine at Costco for $119.00 China has no quality control, If it's made in China then you have 30 / 70% change of getting something that lasts. One buyer may get a good one and the net 1000 get the trash. I got the trash, picture is terrible at it best, difficult to connect to a iPhone. I tried it for a week and gave up and return it to Costco and let them ship it back to China. YOU may get lucky or you may be just wasting your times like I did,

This camera doesn't reconnect if it gets disconnected, so far this is by far the worse of cameras, doesn't have a wire connection, I travel a lot and wants to have a way to monitored my house, every time i am away and I want to check my house the camera shows disconnected, there's no way to re connect unless you're home, I been having this camera for about 2 months, today I am having a hard time trying to re connect it. I am thinking on return it, although i probably disposed the packaging. awggg what a PITA

This camera does not seem to work at all with a computer as the website for it will not work in any browser. Its pretty much useless unless you plan to sit there staring at your cellphone watching it as it trashes your battery. Garbage!
