I have the S8 Ultra and an iPad, and there's just no comparison (even with app availability). The Samsung tablet blows the iPad out of the water.

not mentioned and another display improvement over the previous S8 ultra is that now you have a variable refresh rate option. between that and a more efficient snapdragon processor you get on average an extra 1.5 hours of screen time. that's significant considering the battery size between last year's model and the current S9 ultra are identical. another change albeit less impactful is that now you don't have to set the s-pen in only one direction to charge but it can be done either pointed to the left or right.

been using samsung tab since s7. Not really a laptop replacement but rather a laptop alternative. I've been using it as daily driver for works for almost 3 years now, most of the time it gets the job done (if you are not using a specific PC software). just upgraded to s9+ 5G and it's damn smooth. I would say the best android tablet if u are into android ecosystem.

Yes. Just had mine for 3hrs. Brightness is TRASH. I got zfold4 that has at least 2x more brightness. And even my LG C1 OLED tv is alot brighter than this brand spanking top of 2023 android tablet. Very disappointing, indeed. Good thing that I got a killer deal on this thing. Id be pissed..

Im going to get rid of the tablet before the end of the year and buy a mini-led display windows laptop, with locked hdr over 1000nits. The dim screen is a deal breaker. Everything else is fire on the tablet. Just that 1 important thing is a big letdown.

Aron thanks for the 30 day review. I now have Apple products but I want to buy an Android product so I can use the KZbin create app that just came out for creating content. Can you please do a video on that. You mentioned it didn’t work well with KZbin studio but I’m new to content creation so I didn’t understand everything you discussed. I prefer to do vlogging and video editing on one product so I don’t have a ton of stuff to lug around when I travel. Can you also review the tablets internal mic too?

This is all cool. But how do you prevent apps from running in the background? And connecting to the internet when we don't want? In the S, Fold and Flip phone, when you swipe up, the apps get completely killed force stopped. Which clearly means that they know that when customers spend little more premium prices, they have to provide the privacy privileges. How to get that on s9 ultra?

I have really tried hard to replace my laptop with this Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra for 3 months now. Unfortunately, the microsoft office does not work well in this tablet. The laptop is still the best gadget as far as MS Office 365 is concerned. Other than that, I love this tablet.

I have run into an annoying bug related to the s pen. Whenever I remove the S pen from the back while the tablet is off "the screen off memo" feature always get triggered. I tried hard rebooting and resetting the tablet but nothing worked. The only workaround is turning that feature off

I love this thing but the charge way too much for the keyboard. That should be included in a product that's $1200 at base. You can get something like lenovo 5i 2 in 1for half that price with keyboard. or 7i. There are benefits to android and an arm chip. Running KZbin on open source front end clients for instance or revanced or new pipe is way better on android . But still a $1600 amdrou3 tablet after you factor in the keyboards... That's probably too much

Typing accuracy is something I hate in modern Android phones and tablets. It is terrible regardless of the phone price and keyboard. You can't tell me that it is normal for over 1000 euro phone to input u instead of y, because my finger is fat and 25 percent of it was in the u letter 1ms before the other 75% of my finger touches the y letter. Most accurate typing I have ever experienced was on Iphone (old Iphone 6, new ones I have tested are also extremely accurate) and Nokia Lumia 735 (Windows phone that had best typing experience next to Iphone). After latest nerve wrecking typing on my Samsung S22 Ultra I decided to take out my old Nokia Lumia 735 and check how accurate my typing would be... the same text done on the Lumia would produce only 2 or 3 errors, while with the Samsung I would have to correct at least one out of every 10 characters... and this is the best case, sometimes I need to let go of the phone to press some letter with my index finger, because every time I try with my thumb it enters the incorrect symbol and I give up after the 4th of 5th attempt.

I JUST received my 9 ULTRA a couple days ago. Had an 8 plus. Was happy with it but I originally wanted an 8 ULTRA! Couldn't afford it at the moment. Trade in for an 8 plus was 570.00 with BestBuy.. Used pay in 4 with PayPal and BAM! Oh man! It's definitely worth it! More resolution! Fuller sound with speakers! As a budget Audiophile I can hear details with this new 9 series Tab! Only problem I see for others might be the weight/size of it. The 8plus is more universal for gaming and media and also typing with keyboard. The GIGANTIC 9 Ultra is more media/typing with keyboard. Not much gaming with it on hand. To each his own but I LOVE IT! Way better than the 8 plus for me and PLUS it's water resistant! Heck yeah! Feels smoother and more powerful! I keep rewatching movies and 😳 wow! Everytime! Need to order the full sized keyboard. OUCH, on the price, yes but the regular Beige Sammy cover i ordered for the mean time feels so much more premium compared to the 8plus one I have. I can only imagine the 349.00 one for 9 Ultra? Pay it in payments and should soften the blow. And have me 100% satisfied in the end! I'll definitely pay! 😎👍👍👍 Do it! Make the move! If you like the 8 plus?
