Can it be set so the setting only stay that way while the sticker located near? I would like silent text alert mode while i have the phone on night stand, but as soon I remove it from there stand regular settings apply.

Pretty cool.. question is.. if you do like a tag location is it set to the location and my personal Facebook . Like if I tag Barnabys bar and grill any one with the app can tag themselves at that location or is it going to try and sign in to my Facebook on there phone ?

Hey J, does the phone need to be naked in order for the TecTile(s) to work? Will they work with thick phone cases?

I believe the genuine sammy cases will be fine (for eg the Note 2 has a case with an NFC chip in it...) but like you saw, the NFC chip works from 3 cm away, so it should be fine even if your phone's in a sock or something :P

Yes, but you will need another sticker to set it back to normal settings.

How many tiles will you be carrying? I think is useless. Well at least to open apps and stuff like that .

they said smartphones were useless, because what else would you need a phone for other than making phone calls? With half an open mind, you'd realise these things have countless uses. not just for consumers, but for businesses and entire industries in general. Nobody can show you anything you don't wish to see.
