The reason i love your channel is you actually show the TV with PC hooked up and gaming and you actually show the TV in "Normal" everyday use. For example 3:08 in. This shows me what i want to see. Most others "Reviewers" use those over the top B-roll clips that does nothing but show me what the case of the tv looks like. They don't show the product good enough for the viewer to get an idea what the TV will look like in a normal condition room. You friend have done an excellent job showing products. Im happy the Y-Tube algorithm recommended your channel to me. Dont change your review process. Its Great!

I was really struggling to notice a difference between these 2 tv's & the minor differences I did notice was probably due to the size differences. That's a major win for this model because it's significantly cheaper than the 3yo tu7000. Great review as always.

Thanks to a warranty replacement from BB when my second Insignia F30 broke down after 15 months. I upgraded to the Samsung TU690t, I originally upgraded to the T7000, but when I saw the T690t was selling for the same (warranty replacement allowance) price, I was hesitant until they informed me that the TU690t was a newer model. Because it had a lower series/model number I was hesitant, but after reading the reviews and on the advice of the sales rep, telling me it was a 2021/2 model instead of a 2020 model, I took his word for it. I came across your review (this video) of the tu690t and the other video comparing it to the T7000, and now I feel much better about my decision. Your review was easy to understand and covered everything I wanted to know. Thank you for all your time and effort and quality reviews. Next time I will visit you first so I know exactly what I need to know before I make a decision. Thanks again Tech Steve!

@@Kevmack124 I just bought the 60" 690T (2022) model for $399 plus tax. The 60" 7000 (2020) model is $417 plus tax. Both at Best Buy. The 690T is a Black Friday price. Originally $449. Other difference is that 7000 model has Edge lit LED whereas 690T model has direct lit. I find direct lit to be better.

Just bought this to replace my samsung 70tu6985 that I bought last Christmas. Unfortunately I broke the screen on that one...don't ask me how. lol! Anyway it appears to be exactly the same as the tu6985 after comparing specs. They were sold out of tu6985 so I ended up buying the vizio 70" to replace at first, but after viewing I was very disappointed with the clarity compared to Samsung, so we returned and bought Samsung 75tu690t. Very happy with this tv, the picture quality is amazing for this price. You won't be disappointed.

Got this in a 55 for boxing day. One issue I'm having is a slight audio delay through the Bose sound bar. I have it plugged into the TV, but I usually watch everything through my series X so not sure if plugging it into that would help. One cool feature I just discovered is I can control the series X dashboard with the Samsung remote, no setup required it just automatically does it.

@@liljap74 If you go to picture settings, then expert....there's jutter adjustment. All the way to the right gives you the heavy soap opera effect, further less back to normal. However, further right is super HD crystal crazy clear.

This TV is a POS, I just bought one a month ago. I'm still wondering about returning it but probably too late. Movies look like garbage on it. Unless your digital streaming it doesn't impress at all. Gaming looked jittery to me but I might have not set it up right. Not really Impressed at all. Hopefully it will last at least

7 months late but if anyone is thinking of getting this tv as it looks like there's some discounts happening, Samsung's specs say it's directlit not edgelit.. Edit: huh actually the 60" is directlit my bad, the 58" and 43" is in fact edgelit. EDIT 2: to add even further to Samsung's weird specs within the same product family, the 58" is a full 120hz but the 60" is 60hz with motion rate 120...

Could you please do something I haven''t seen other reviewers do. In the comments of your other review someone said HDR dark scenes were unwatchable. I totally agree watching NETFLIX many movies love having very dark scenes. Turning up the brightness ruined the image by making the black colors grey. The solution Samsungs have is Dynamic setting in video. For the millions of us who mostly watch movies and not game with our TVs it would be helpful if you would grab some dark scenes and put it on dynamic and some colorful sscenes to see colors and some small detail scene so we might compare against other TVs you review. I just bought my 3rd Samsung and 2nd TU690T in a 75" because in a dim room I don't find the value in spending more?

I cannot find a review for the Samsung DU7200 I have been seeing around for slightly more. I was a huge fan of the TU7000 for casual outdoor viewing on the back deck. All I really care about is a clean image with no stuttering and minimal blur. It seems it's only reasonable to go with the TU690T to continue my causal back deck viewing for baseball, wrestling, and football (day and night viewing). Any advice would be appreciated!

CU7000 is a 2020 model- TU690T is a 2022 model almost got tricked walmart and bestbuy pushing the 7000 with a pretty photo while the 690t has a plain blue photo but the 690t is the newest model.
