@@jakeshipp861 haven’t used it yet bro as don’t have my series x, but yeah I don’t think 4 ms will make much of a difference and most games only go to 60fps anyway on Xbox so it’s a great monitor really

@@jakeshipp861 It only matters if you are into really competitive gaming. If you are looking for a beautiful single player experience (or even just normal casual multiplayer gaming) this should be fine. 4ms is still decent.

"Game Mode" is only a colour profile on Samsung monitors, it get mistaken for "Game Mode" on TV's which help reduce input lag, so your not missing out :) It probably can't be enabled at the same time as another setting, just for an example Freesync. Plus game mode color preset always looks over-saturated or not "right". I am considering getting this for my Series X, is the ghosting noticeable? Cheers.

Hi! Received the RU55 monitor yesterday, it's awesome! I connect my MIBOX3 to HDMI1 and PS5 to HDMI2, but why can't I turn on game mode on the monitor when I use PS5? The monitor no longer allows me to use "game mode" in the "picture" settings, but the MIBOX 3 HDMI1 allowed me to turn on game mode. On PS5 I have of course PC selection, but on MIBOX3 I turn on AV selection. FreeSync and HDR On When Supported are turned on, but why does the monitor not allow the game mode to be turned on, I need an explanation, but I'll be honest, right now the PS5 quality of the image I see on this monitor excites me!

for console is great buy but for PC gaming with high gpu card you want more than 60hz. PC gamers should be looking for 144hz or 240hz for best picture and once you play console games on good pc you gonna be blown away

I'm thinking on buying the Samsung UR55 UHD 4k with HDR, but my question is, is the hdr any good and is it a good monitor to play on the ps4 pro or is the Samsung U28E590D better? I have a 24" Business Monitor S24F356FHU 1080p where i game on and of course if i would buy the 4k monitor, it would be a gigantic leap from my old one.

Hello! To answer your question about the quality of the hdr in this monitor, its not the best since it only has a typical brightness of 300 nits but at its current price point its in my opinion still worth it and all displays have around the same brightness at the same price point as this one. If you want to get a hdr display with amazing hdr quality you’ll need to spend a lot more.

Just got it.. Kinda disappointed. How can I set refresh rate to 75hz instead of 60? I've tried going to the monitor settings and setting up a custom resolution but when I put in 75hz and click test it keeps saying test failed doesn't support it. Help me please!!!

yes this monitor will be great for ps5... no HDMI 2.1 but there is NO monitor on the market with that feature & the PS5 will not put out 120hz content for a long time. If you wish to get the most out of a monitor this will do you good.. if you want the MOST out of your ps5 at launch then I recommend a TV with quantum dot or OLED technology but for monitor users this is going to be just fine.

On my PS5, the issue is that when I enable HDR on the sound and video settings, "Game Mode" is not available on my monitor, and makes the screen dim. If I disable HDR on the PS5, "Game Mode" can then be selected and it maxes out the lighting and refresh rate. I have the HDMI set to 2.0. How can I enable HDR, have hdmi 2.0, and have the monitor set to "Game Mode"? This is not an issue on my LG C8, just on this monitor. Any input would be very helpful! EDIT: I am slo using THE HDMI 2.0 cable that came with my PS5
