제가 몇번 수리를 해봤는데, 메인 액정 손상 확률을 낮추는 방법은 액정 테두리 가이드를 제거할때 전체를 제거하는 것이 아니라, 오른쪽을 먼저 제거하고, 오른쪽 액정을 먼저 분리합니다. 가이드 전체를 제거하고 작업할 경우, 왼쪽의 액정케이블을 손으로 손상시킬 확률이 높아집니다.

Be very careful....they skipped over the part where you have to remove the board in the back to be able to release the big screen's ribbon cables in order to pry off the large screen, otherwise the large screen's ribbon cable comes off the back of the screen and you'll need a new screen $$$$. So watch several videos and use them to fill the gaps in between them.

at 4:58 you can see a grey part with 2 movable parts around 1 cm x 1 cm in exact in the middle of the phone. mine broke into several pieces, which blocked the hinges. Can I buy it somewhere?

That's cold press and I cant believe they used that on that panel it'll never come off again without damage. If they can get that off without damaging it again I'd be impressed lol

It's a beautiful phone. Very complex structure, but now not the only technology. Absolutely they tell you it's not dust proof so stay away from zones full of dust or you can get issues like accumulated dust added pressure.

Is it possible to route the hinge cable the other way? Routing it on the outside around the hinge? Or are not all the lines in the fpcb cable connected so the orientation does matter?

If you have a fold 2, 3 and 4 you need to sell it before this problem happens. It is a manufacturing defect design flaw even if you replace with new cable it will happen again. Samsung is lying about the 200,000 folds durability it does not include the flex cable which will be broken in just a few thousand folds

Seems to last longer if you avoid dust accumulation which rubs and adds pressure to the cable.

This bezels are the nightmare to remove them, it is always breaks for me. What do u use trto hold the inner screen after gluing it ?

Make sure do it carefully and you should be fine. Re using glue to hold the inner screen is fine.

No, it will eventually happen again. It's a poor cable design.

@@8884-l8k That's not a bad idea. I wonder if it will interfere with the folding. I don't know how tight the fold is. I just ordered a bunch of tools for the job like two minutes ago.

@@rewatechnology2008 no matter if U film from which angle the sticker is sticker on the wrong side.... U can clearly see it does not match the pattern of the screws which the sticker is there to block

When I opened the Z Fold 4, the sound disappeared and sometimes the screen turned blank(sometimes it’s working fine but still no sound), for the wifi still working fine. Do you think this is because of the ribbon cable?

@@rewatechnology2008 a guy is charging me 6000PKR (20USD) to change these flex cable. But he needs approval for screen damage chances. Means he'll do it but he won't be responsible if the screen is dead by his mistake. 😢

Let me see all common faults in Z Fold series are caused by the Hinge flex cable breakage replacing it fix all the issues such as : "Wi-Fi button Grey Out" "No Sound" "Black Screen" "Touch screen not working" "screen with line" "Abnormal Touch" and too much use of the inside screen also causes : "Crack screen on the middle" is that all or I missed something ?

I can't get the damn outer screen off!! Heated pad up to 90c and put it on, which cooled the pad to 78c, then left it on for three minutes as it gradually warmed back up. Used 99% isopropyl alcohol and still cannot get this damn screen to come off with a suction cup

Ok I got it finally. The strebito kit had a tool that let me just barely wedge in there and glide it around to open it. The suction cup didn't seem to help me very much.

진심으로 힌지 케이블 내구성이 매우 안좋다. 수리난이도가 높아서 케이블 교체때문에 메인 액정에 가로줄이 한개가 생김. 두개 작업했는데 둘다 위치만 다를뿐 가로줄이 하나 생기는 걸 보니, 내 손기술로는 이게 한계였나봄. 메인 액정 분리하는데만 알콜 엄청 뿌려가면서 1시간 넘게 걸렸는데도..

What? This phone is perfect for multitasking. Haven't had to repair this or the other fold which I donated to my dad and I was using that one for 2 years, still going strong, 0 repairs needed. Ofc, I do avoid dust since that is it's weakness but I get so much more utility out of this phone than your common phone. It's a perfect workhorse for me.

I have the sound issue now after 2 and a half years... every single smartphone gets issues after 2 years... so tired of people calling things gimmicks when they dont have a clue on what they are talking about... and besides this is even an issue that can be fixed with relative low cost... best phone I ever had by far. And yes i unfold my phone every single day multiple times.. its not nice having issues but lets be real... what phone doesnt get issues after more then 2 years in this era? They are not made to last for more then 2 years and thats just the way the phones crumble these days..

thanks but No Thanks to this INCOMPLETE video, my Z Fold 3 is now is in the garbage bin 😢 the video missed alot of steps & causes the connector between inner & body to break & the dangling motherboard to break in half. So good luck trying.
