As a Bay Area resident for (a lot of years) I can tell you with absolute factual certainty that the price for anything in San Francisco is multiplied many times for location. Add more multipliers to that for anything that has actual property surrounding the house (because there literally isn't any left). So yes, the house is modern and marble and white and all that (and just so you know, many of these insanely expensive houses do come furnished). But you could get so much more pretty much anywhere else in the U.S. I mean, if you're willing to live in, like, Montana, Wyoming or the Dakotas you could buy yourself a small country for $68 million.

I would love to see more of this. I have watched a show called You Live in what? were they go to different people's houses and look at their unique architecture. I also enjoyed watching the ugliest house in America. In each episode you tour three houses in America that are ugly or not that practical.
