Has Sock ever sprained his wrist? He twists it so hard in every single forehand.
@MrJchneo7 жыл бұрын
Socks forehand technique is awful, that pointless flick of his wrist is only going to end in injury at some point, and it actually makes his accuracy so inconsistent, he'd get just as much top spin with a clean follow through without that stupid shit
@notsohandytim50906 жыл бұрын
Jordan: That's what coaches are teaching these days, even at the club level.
@tom0176devo6 жыл бұрын
I got taught this as a developing player. I like my forehand now, I create a lot of topspin, and can hit the ball flat and so forth but still coaches insist that I have a forehand like Sock's, or Djokovic's, which have and will continue to cause them injuries because of their techniques.
@notsohandytim50906 жыл бұрын
I think your concern makes sense from a medical view point, but the vast majority (if not all) current high school though ATP players seem to be getting away with it. Maybe this technique relieves injury risk from other parts of the arm.

This is a great platform for Sock and his likes to make an impression. Novak and Rafa tend to take it way too easy here. I don’t blame them, this whole tournament is a bit meh, and Fed fanboys are probably the most enthused about it. Be that as it may, perhaps they should make way for those who actually want to give their 100%
@Ash_rn082 жыл бұрын
Rafa has never taken any competition easy in his life ever. He’s the only one giving it a 100% from Day 1, on court and on the bench- even Roger himself has said he was thankful Rafa even turned up and that he didn’t expect him to give it a 100% but he still did because he literally doesn’t know any other way
