Hey Sam is there a way to send you a private message? I have a question about your new restaurant name. I live in Richland, WA and we also have a restaurant called Graze. I’m only asking because my buddy had an arcade/bar here and he named it a certain name. Come to find out there was an arcade in Oregon with the same name and my buddy was sued because he too the same name

I live in Northern California and had the pleasure of meeting Sam on my birthday trip to San Diego this past November. Tacos were amazing, but meeting Sam was the highlight of my entire trip. Super cool guy, down to earth, and he was more than happy to take a picture with my brother and I. You're going to knock it out the park with GRAZE and I will definitely stop by during my next trip!

I had the exact experience this last year. Went down from Northern California. My wife and I were eating at Not Not, Sam came in and was working on a taco. Food was amazing, but the highlight was Sam coming by and talking tacos and how hard it is to cook an egg right. Pastrami taco is a way of life, thanks Sam!

Sam I’m 19 live with my girlfriend thank you for posting and practically giving me great dinner ideas I’m in construction and get off at 5pm she’s works hard as a pre k teacher and gets off at 6:30 by the time she gets home I’ve made one of your amazing dishes and she’s always happy she’s got a good meal at home thank you for helping me in the kitchen We will be taking a Trip from Tx to both your restaurants soon

Sam! You are the best. I started cooking because of you and I stunned my wife as a result. I was limited to Campbells Soup and Hamburger Helper prior to your inspiration. I love your delivery, your self-deprecation, and your cussing. Your delivery and dark(ish) humor strikes a chord, so I am a convert. I travel to LA frequently, but my next trip will include a side trip to San Diego to visit your restaurants. Keep doing what you do, and don't submit to the haters. It’s brilliant how the world evolves: Back in the ‘80s, here in NYC, before the “u” in Yuppies had been democratized into “upwardly mobile” and still stood for “urban”, that particular class was reviled by restaurateurs for the habit they had of going to restaurants and ordering only drinks and appetizers, rather than full meals, then moving along to several other restaurants where they’d repeat the cycle. The restaurants’ business plans didn’t account for this sort of tapas mentality, and it was throwing the culinary status quo into flux. This repugnant behavior was disparagingly referred to as “grazing”. Cut to ‘20s San Diego, and you’ve erected a shrine to it. Best of luck to you and your new venture. If I’m ever in your fair city again with any time to spare, I hope to check it out.

Ham capicola or “ham cappy” what you used. Dry capicola - or we on the east coast call “gobbagool” - is the dry-cured whole muscle that runs from the neck to just past the shoulder. Looks great though maybe when I’m in San Diego for work later this year I’ll swing by and order it! Good luck with the new place, I enjoy your videos and even learned a thing or two watching.

My gf used to live in San Diego and we are going in November. She is making a list of all her favorite places. I already added not not tacos. will definitely be adding this to the list. Coming from Detroit and love to support channels that I love. Already pre ordered the knife as well.
