Davina D Most black actresses in the business are underrated (i.e. Sanaa, Taraji, Nia, Gabrielle, etc). I’m not saying they don’t get roles. I’m so glad they finally seem to be getting more recognition and more work. But, compared to their white counterparts who have done the same amount of work (or less), they still don’t receive all of the accolades, pay, or opportunities that they deserve-that they’ve earned.
