Great painting Sam 👍. It's similar to the landscapes of Switzerland, when I go walking in the mountains. I like not only your paintingstyle but also your new look.Your face with the cut hair makes you younger and more dynamic. Greetings from Switzerland near Interlaken. Fred

Thank you so much. I would love to visit Switzerland and go plein air painting there, hopefully one day. Also thank you for your comment about my hair, I've had it long for most of my adult life and I fancied a change. I think my new haircut looks better too 😊

I’m curious what size panels do you use when you paint outside, in the video they look large
@SamuelEarpArtist Жыл бұрын
I generally paint small artworks when plein air painting. The panels I used to paint on in the video where 8” x 8” and 6” x 8”. 8” x 10” panels are a good size too 😊

Can you define "occlusion shadows" for your viewers
@SamuelEarpArtist Жыл бұрын
Occlusion shadows occur where there is a total absence of light. They are found in things such as cracks in rocks or the darkest areas of shadows within trees for example 😊
