One of my favourite pianists of my favourite composer J. S. Bach!

The textures, the masterful dynamic variation, the spontaneity, the warmth, the originality- this is a masterclass in playing Bach.

Feinberg is one of the greatest interprets of J. S. Bach of all times! Awesome!

This is only the second Feinberg Bach I've heard, but already I'm very much inclined to agree with you!

a so human Bach. it is one of the best Bach interpreters and thank him for reading the book together with me.

Sublime playing! And provocative! He does all kinds of things that one is taught shouldn't be done with Bach, but no one can say these choices are made without the most honestly thought and deeply felt musical impulses. It is my understanding that sometimes performed as many as 3 program. In a single day sometimes including a concerto program that feature not 'just' one concerto, but two--and on rare occasions THREE concertos! ! y
Marvelous, joyful! I'm bowled over. What a happy discovery.

So much energy on this playing, sound so good, so much color and expression that some time does not sound like Bach but definitively it work so well!

Sure... rubato...so politically incorrect in Bach.....and just about the most divinely precise articulation you'll ever hear in this rep. Yes, many amazing technicians of the piano on the circuit these days. But nothing in this category.... nothing even close.

You may have heard the joke: you see, back in Bach's time they didn't know as much about authenticity as we do today.

If Bach had the piano, he'd have treated it like a piano, not a harpsichord I'm guessing. So more like this.
