Was really hoping they would make the shield counter "eyes open with siegan" more potent :( its so satisfying to do but it feels really weak.

when you consider that the third eye proc now gives 10 kenki, that is a pretty big gain in potency per kenki, seigan now effectively costing 5 instead of 15. from 14.6 potency per kenki to 44 potency/kenki. of course this is assuming seigan remains 220 potency. shinten is 12.8 potency per kenki at current potency, so that's a pretty huge buff to seigan in a way. it's not a direct buff to seigan but since you're almost always following the third eye proc with seigan i think it's logical to think of it in this way. i am with you 100% though, seigan should feel like a bigger gain, esp since some hits snapshot late/weird and others you just need to third eye before the cast bar finishes.

Tsubame-Gaeshi appears to no longer generate meditation stacks. Hopefully something balances that out.

Wait a second...when he does the big Midare at the end, you can kinda see ground waves similar to Tenka Gouken's underneath it, kinda like it's a fusion of all of your Iaijutsu attacks. I wonder if that means you have to use all three before you get access to it.

i feel like if that were the case there would have been some indication on the job gauge but nothing is different about it other than Tsubame no longer grants Mediate charges.

@@KatrinaAmaxas After watching the clip again, i think the new Iaijutsu gets triggerd by using Ikishoten. You can compare it to WAR, who can use Infuriate to trigger Inner Chaos/Chaotic Cyclone. I think Using all Iaijutsu to trigger the attack wont be the case, since you are using Goken almost never in Savage Fights, unless there are adds to attack.

@@kunstlerischesetwas1284 I guess it wouldn't be impossible for the new Iaijutsu to work similar to Nascent Chaos's buff, but if that's the case, then what move does it replace? It can't be Guren or Senei since their CDs are too long for it to make sense within the time frame it was used.

- Yukikaze Aoe skill - Third Eye 10 Kenki gain - Maybe a Aoe Version of Shoha - New Burst Attack (propably triggerd by Ikishoten) Thats the changes i could spot in this clip so far. Edit: Just noticed he didnt got a meditation point on using Tsubamegaeshi + he used it a lot of times so no cooldown?

Later in the LL, they mentioned a few other changes too: - Mangetsu and Oka (AoE combos) will now give Jinpu and Shifu buffs, not just extend them - Using Meikyo Shisui for Gekko and Kasha will also give Jinpu and Shifu buffs - Meikyo Shisui and Tsubame-Gaeshi will be charge actions, with two charges each SAM is getting a lot of really nice changes in EW, definitely looking forward to it.

I noticed Kasha and Gekko only giving five Kenki. I’m hoping it’s only a side-effect of being used during Meikyo Shisui, because getting only fifteen Kenki from a full combo would royally fuck me up.

@@TerenceLight That's because they're attacking from the front. Kasha and Gekko only give their full Kenki if you hit from the flank/back respectively.

There seems to be a fourth Iaijutsu, the last move in the trailer. It used no resources - no Kenki, no Sen, no Meditation. As near as I can figure, Kaiten was still used beforehand, so it could be some sort of special attack if Kaiten is up with no Sen active.

Yep, the skill was called "Hyosetsu" and it got removed from the game to ease some button bloat on Samurai :(

I wonder if the AoE Yukikaze will replace Fuga, though.

I dont think so, since you would be forced to take Setsu in order to get either Ka or Getsu. They cant do that since this would destroy the combo mechanic behind the aoe rotation. I think this move will be triggered by Fuga like the other 2 Attacks. I also think it will get a higher potency than Mangetsu and Oka for the fact it wont give you a Damage/Skillspeed Buff.

@@AvengerofWarcraft sure, but in this case you cant have both buffs right at the start without getting 3 Sens. As i said i dont think this will be the case. You should always have the choice which sen you want to collect.
