When people pose to take a picture with you, you should try putting your arm around them, or looking straight at them during the picture, and then resume your pose, so they question whether you're real or not.

We have an older couple that does the same thing. Wife would hand out full size candy bars while her husband dressed up as a scarecrow sitting next to her. He didn’t scare my kids since they were pretty young, 5 and 2. But I saw him scare the next group that were older, around 10+

Nice to see that the Japanese people have a good sense of humor Also I have to agree with many other commenters. The cleanliness is impressive. Many US cities and town let themselves go and become gross. It makes me want to speed up my plans to visit Japan. I absolutely must visit at least once in my life. Or if things keep going the way they are maybe even look to move there, even knowing how hard that is.
@EmperorofThings3 жыл бұрын
If you move there, I will warn you its extremely hard for white people or any other ethnicity that isnt japanese to find a job, the japanese culture is very working oriented. They always work, and even on holidays they will still go to work, most never use their payed vacation days either. Because its seen as being "lazy and unmotivated" Also finding appartment complexes that will take you in and let you rent out their rooms are also very hard to come by. A youtuber named Abroad in Japan made a really in depth video on why not to move their: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJfTiHSngJWMkKc , visiting is definately the way to go though.

That isn't a normal residential neighborhood. Places in Japan can get as dirty and run down as anywhere else. Littering, for example, can be a big problem since public trash cans are totally not a thing. And with the economy on a 30 year recession, tons of buildings have been abandoned and just left to rot.
