How is it a hard sell? The PS4/Xbox versions were $60 when released and they didn't include the DLC characters. The game still has a ton of content without it. $50 is more than a fair asking price.

This game has been out for months already on Japan eshop.. i bought mine there when it first released. I liked the game. RGT85 forget to mention there are two artworks to choose from right after you have chosen your character; 3D polygon char from ps1 graphic or the current realistic 3D char...its interesting to see your fav char in ps1 graphic form.

You don't need a full rage meter to do a rage explosion or a super special move. The only thing you need a full rage meter for is the Weapon Flipping Technique. And when that meter is full your attacks also do more damage.

It sucks that they don't include characters, from season pass #1 for free, since the game suffered a big delay from PS4 and Xbone versions. The good thing are, that all my personal favorites are already in the base game.

Developer Safari Games (Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet Complete Edition, Super DragonBall Heroes World Mission) did a fantastic job with the Switch port of Samurai Shodown. Absolutely worth getting on the system, though you may want to go for the digital version as the physical version is hard to find and on the expensive side now.

Check the options screen; sometimes there is a [violence] and/or [blood] setting that either a simple on/off or a slider.

Has this only just came out for the Switch ? It’s old, it came out for Xbox One and PS4 ages ago. So tired of the Switch getting games so long after the Xbox One and PS4 AND have the nerve to cost the same price they were originally at launch on the Xbox One and PS4. By the time they come to Switch they have already gone done in price on the other two systems. So, you have to wait longer AND when it final arrives on Switch you still have to pay the same price it was months ago. This is one of the reasons I haven’t yet bothered getting a Switch.

I think they should have offered the free DLC for the Switch version as well. We got a free S1 DLC for the PS4 if you pre-order the game or if you bought the game 15 days after launch. Furthermore, we got Shizumaru (kid with the umbrella) DLC for free, by just owning the game.

Uniclr is the best fighting game so far for the switch, especially for beginners
