This is the best Samurai Warriors title available on PC/steam currently, joining the ranks of Dynasty Warriors 7 Xtreme Legends and Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate, the last of which is prob the best Warriors in general you can get on PC at the moment.

they messed up the forces color, for example, Tokugawa in red instead of blue, Oda in crimson instead of purple etc

Is the colour of the crest very important in Japanese feudal houses/clans?

@@SilverMont it's not the crest color, but the color theme of soldier & generic officer model, it's weird to see Ieyasu guarded by red colored soldier, this happen in this port only i guess, SW4 vanilla, SW4 - II, & spirit of sanada don't have this incorrect color issue

Red color is for soldiers under Ii Clan

Samurai warriors 4 is definitely my favorite warriors game of all time. Warriors orochi 2 have a special place in my heart tho

WO2 is prob the one I've put the most hours into - unlocking all the achievements took a long time, because of that one in particular that needed you to grind like, looooads of characters to max prof haha

I we were to ever get a Warriors Orochi with custom characters and a empire mode. It could basically be updated for 20 years instead of actually making any new games. But good Ideas may as well be poison.

Where to get the dlc weapon on this game? I thought it will claim first in shop or it will automatic in prepare for battle?

What is the difference between Samurai Warriors 4 and this 4DX?

This one has all the DLC and some minor changes. Plus it's on pc for the first time

This comes with graphical improvements from Full HD to 4K, and comes with all the paid expansions of conventional SW4, there were improvements to the characters' shadows, not to mention the bug improvements that were present in conventional SW4.

This is what games should be! Funnnn! It's so good. But controller prompts are messed up. Does anybody know a fix?

I think skill three is better in SW 4ii, that kinda improves combat from DW 4. On the other hand Spirit of Sanada is better than duo,, having more content and improved combat. But SW4 has the edge for having better Sengoku period story. SW 4ii is mostly side stories and Spirit of Sanada focuses Sanada Clan's story. But best SW 4 game SW 4 Empire still on the PS wall :D . For DW, while I really love DW 7's story, I think DW 8 got the edge with hypothetical routes. Of course, respect your opinion. Im still waiting a good price drop for Warriors Orochi 4, havent tried it yet. WO3 is best for me too. I hope this game bring the spark for new Warriors games.

i am happy that the game got released, but yeah, the problem is the price, Mosou games are practically the same game repackaged and this is a decade old game, watching this reminded me of playing Samurai Warriors on the 3ds, those are the same assets... why would i spend money on this game if i can grab any modern game or Orochi 3 if i have to pick?. if the games are cheaply made, they should be cheap to buy

I still haven't finished SW5, kinda bored with the gameplay.. wonder if I should get this since it's considered the best SW game 🤔

Hmm... do you like other Warriors/Musou games? If not, you prob won't like this one. Or was it just SW5 you couldn't really get into? Either way, if you're just looking for a good musou game, try Warriors Orochi 3 on Steam. If you're more specifically after a Sengoku story, then SW4!

@@SilverMont I'm new into musou game and do like SW5.. I don't really care about the story, just looking for some good gameplay mechanics, so even spin-offs like Berserk and Attack on Titan look interesting. I'll also look up your suggestions, thanks!

Imo, WO3 Ultimate is definitely the best musou game to date. It felt like Omega force went ALL OUT on the overall experience for WO3U from gameplay, actual good story, beautiful UI, and great WO3 exlusive bgms especially the character selection bgm, always got me hyped af. Can't explain the countless hours I poured into WO3.

Ok that's good to know! First time I opened the game it wouldn't go above 1080 but then a restart let me go to 1440. So maybe it depends on the monitor/desktop resolution?

Wish this was on xbox SX too. Only played 4 empires. 3 i gave up on it because of the crappy wii.

my best dw is dw8 xtreme legends, i think i put thousands hours max out every character, super addictive

DW7 is cheaper and has more content and a better story. The gameplay is pretty close between the two. Personally I prefer 7 as the rock/paper/scissors style mechanic in 8 wasn't my kinda thing. I also prefer the maps and music. But 8 isn't bad.

I wonder what DX means? Deluxe Xtreme? Anyways, if one searches for "Samurai Warriors 4" on the PlayStation store, most of the DLC included in DX can be seen. A confusing mess of individual and bundled sets of scenarios, weapons, and costumes. I've always disliked Koei's "death by a thousand cuts" DLC practices so it is nice to see ultimate editions that clears away the confusion of "what am I missing out of?" Still gonna wait for a sale, though!

DX stands for DELUXE, pretty much the game and all the DLC bundled together yeah.

He's in Orochi but not Samurai, so not in this one. Orochi has more mythical characters in.
