Heard this game was utter crap. So I bought it. Have to say Im having a blast. But problem is that I die much much more here than in Elden Ring, DS3 and Bloodborne. I actually die all the time. Oh well.. time to go die again. Bye 😀

Gwyndolin is a perfect dragon/human crossbreed hermaphrodite (Alchemically "Rebis") created by Seath the Alchemist from his piece of the lordsoul given to him by Gwyn after he betrayed his own kind (Priscilla was a too feminine creation, thus she was banished and locked away in a painting). Gwyndolin was created in an act of rebellion after realising that he (Seath) commited a grave mistake and in a selfish self-centred pursuit of immortality caused the downfall and almost extinction of his whole race. Seath and Gwyndolins plan was to slowly erode and finally usurp Gwyns legacy and dynasty, altering the undead curse to their benefit, we see the fruits of this in the Usurp fire ending in DS3. Basically any mention of Velka/Gwyndolin in DS1 is psyop info, used to insert themselves into the firelink prophecy. Miyazaki is a sociology student, recognising and distinguishing propaganda is a key trait in almost all his works.

Wolf can in fact deflect magic. I actually found out recently but you can parry the Shichimen Warrior laser beam then runn straight through it which is insane ._. this is without the shield hat

To be fair, Radagon is regarded as a great hero of the war of liurnia and led said war. And even if it wasn't at the scale of the war against the ancient dragons Gwyn led, Gwyn had help from 3 other (granted weaker) godlike beings and a traitor. Radagon went in alone

i think the main difference between sekiro and the rest is he finds his strength within himself, not within the currency that gave the person you just killed their power. and, at least in my opinion, that makes him infinitely more powerful.

I suspect Mesmer might've been kept in the "shadows" for the same reason the Golden Order waged war on the Fire Giants, his flame being a threat to the tree. And perhaps it was Mesmer who started this unsung war, and is now banished into the shadows for that reason? I find it interesting that the duality of Radagon and Merika is easy to show in their children. Melania, a red haired god of physical power like Radagon. And Miquella, a golden haired god of influence like Merkia. But where does Mesmer fit into the frey? Is the duality of Miquella's form of St. Trina the "destiny" it speaks of? And was was St. Trina destined to do? To keep Mesmer under control? To lull Mesmer to sleep? Maybe this war was unspeakable because it was a war between immediate family, between Mesmer and Radagon/Merika or his siblings? Perhaps St. Trina's ability to control sleep was a to be a tool to subdue Mesmer without killing him, as direct conflict between the immediate family was forbidden. But perhaps Miquella refused this task, abandoning the roll of St. Trina and instead chooses to claim the power of this shadowed tree for him/herself? So many questions! I could be full of nonsense, but it's fun to think about.

What if we made the characters duke it out in the actual games, like make the NPCs have all their respective stats and gear. I have no experience modding Souls games, don't know how hard it would be.

Well if the Old One counts then that. Every time it wakes it farts a colorless mist that erases existance. There is no killing it that we know of. I suppose the only stronger being would be the original God that put the Old One on earth.

One of my favorite weapons in the game, furthermore, in the series. I find it to be a gorgeous weapon with fantastic infusion paths and a decent damage output.

It’s one of my favourite curved swords. Annoying you have to farm it.. Wish it had a sheath tho.

Elden Ring has the best exploration I have ever seen in a game. I scoured every inch of that map. Every item you get feels useful. Most games suffer because so much of exploration isn't rewarding due to trash repear loot. ER does not suffer from that at all.

Miyazaki did not want me to have this weapon. Took me *forever* to farm it-I got two magma blades back to back off the first available lizard guys in volcano manor, but had to farm a few hours straight for one of these

I hadn't thought to think of the Corpse Tree as a portal, but looking at it now it seems pretty blaring.

I think any mech from any armored core game would beat all of the others at the same time.

Ima just go ahead and say it. I believe Sekiro would win. He’s a master swordsman who literally can block and deflect anything, has unlimited stamina and has defeated demons and gods. He even can deflect a god dragons sword which is the size of a building. Now it is a good argument mentioning roberts father, however sekiro is innovative in the sense that he can find a way around it. And if he’s got the mortal blade then it’s over. The only other one I can see coming on top would have to be the tarnished, since they literally contend with gods the whole time. But sekiro is just quicker faster stronger in a lot of ways, can stealth, and has amazing reflexes in the form of deflecting bullets point blank and more. Also, side note. Tarnished kind of has an answer for all of this. When you mentioned wolves deflection it reminded me of tarnished parry and his ability to add hardness to himself which literally cause weapons to bounce off his body and get free hits in. Mimic tear is also just a game winner, literally is a 1:1 of the Tarnished with infinite fp. Not to mention things like destined death, black flames and stuff of that sort.

Stupidly OP early game, Got it to +4 and three shot the dragon with the ash of war. So good for hitting them in the head and stuns then really fast.

Sekiro is as souls as armored core is, so it should not be included.
