I'm a Costco member and visit Japan frequently. Thank you for posting the top 5 products at Costco Japan and E-Cost. I noticed E-Cost and thought it was a copycat. Thank you for sharing. By the way, other items I often shop at Costco Japan are olive oil and frozen shrimp. Costco Japan has very large frozen shrimp. Things I don't buy at Costco are frozen dim sum. They're consistently bad in Japan and the US.

I wonder if costco japan has different pizza flavors either depending on date or store, when I went somewhere around spring, instead of that hawaiian pizza, it was margarita pizza, this is also very different then the US another difference is that the hotdogs in the foodcourt in japan use pork meat instead of beef meat (which wasnt popular in japan so they switched)

We always visit Costcos around the world when we can, just to compare. We've been to Costco in Canada, South Korea, Taiwan as well as Japan. The United States food courts are not as good as the ones in Asia. We don't have Clam Chowders, Shrimp Burgers, Bulgogi Bakes or even Fried Chicken (which is in Taiwan). The prices are better in Asia due to the favorable exchange rates to the US dollar. We like to buy the snacks to bring home as gifts for friends and family. We pack a foldable duffle bags just for snacks! 😂

Wow! It's amazing that you've been to Costco in various countries! Is the hot dog the only thing you can eat at the food court in Costco in the US? :) Thank you for letting us know!
@fy38452 ай бұрын
@@samurai_junjiro The hot dogs in the US is all beef while the hot dogs in Asia tends to be pork so the taste is different. Pizzas are the same except for the toppings. The US only offer 2 kinds of pizzas now which are only cheese or pepperoni. (It use to also offer a meat/vegetable topping). Costco in the US is trying different types of sandwiches recently like Turkey & cheese. Their Roast Beef was good but too expensive at $9.00.
