Yet another fantastic episode. Total change in directional style; reminds me more of the Lone Wolf and Cub movies than the Zatoichi ones. I love the change because I loved both collections of those movies for different reasons. However, I always liked the fact there was no blood in the Zatoichi movies; it was more like watching something being performed on a stage. Conversely, the Lone Wolf and Cub were very gory for it's time - it was banned in the uk until the mid 90s. Both have excellent plots so it'll be interesting to see how this series develops; hopefully not as far out as Hanzo the Razor 😀

As someone said, I look forward to these episodes. So, thank you. I agree the sword down the throat was rather "ferocious". A bit out of character for Zatoichi. He has done a few things, a bit torturous before, but that was pretty hardcore. Still, it was a good episode. In this and some of your back episodes, I do notice some translation problems in the English subtitles though. He becomes She and certain words are either not translated correctly or they aren't translated at all. It's a small issue though. I still enjoy the videos. Thank you again and I look forward to seeing the next episode. :)
