A part of the title is missing. The missing part is "The leader's fire flag to (the hand....)". The title already implies that this samurai (Hanzaemon) who is good at using a spear will work for fire department. I somehow ignored the implication of the title, and I was worried that if and when Hanzaemon turns a bad guy during the episode, because the actor who played Hanzaemon usually played a bad top officer in samurai drama.
