This video can be useful for many students who are willing to begin studing anatomy.I myself find anatomy videos more efficient than the textbooks.

Thank you so much for your content. I'm a struggling student having a hard time learning, mostly the physiology aspect, and I'm barely keeping my head above water. You are so helpful and understanding. When I watch your videos, I cry because I wish I had a teacher like you. It is so hard when your professor doesn't get it. Thank you; your students are lucky to have you.

Structural Medicine is very crucial in body maintainance. I deeply appreciate and grateful for your contribution and devotion to teaching basic body anatomy. Your illustration and teachings which were more detailed than what I learnt in all my education at Medical schools in China. Your videos had helped me a lot. As a Chinese Medicine Practitioner in acuputure and body alignment(restoration of structure), you learn anatomy and textily feel the integrity and knots and intertwined parts, you sympatheticaly want to correct and release the body's problems then we started to deeply understand their linkages and functions then you drill deeper and deeper and play the body like an artistic modle and enjoy puting it into proper functioning and hopefully we could released all the pains and mulfunctions that the host is suffering. I really want to meet you and show you my works and help your body to regain energetic and function better.

I decided to go back to school at 53 in late August. So, medical terminology and A&P I. I haven’t been in school since 2003. The first unit wasn’t too bad, because I’d already gone over most of it in my first class. Now, though, we’re into the musculoskeletal system, which is so much memorization. KZbin wasn’t a thing last time I was in school. It’s been great, especially for histology. Kenhub is awesome. The models are helpful, for sure. Reading isn’t enough. I also got a coloring book, lol, which has been great for the muscles so far. You have to mix it up.

I think your videos are superb. If I had to learn anatomy from a text book, it would take me a lot longer to understand it. If ever. As a yoga teacher who teaches athletes, I do need to know quite a bit of anatomy & physiology. Aside from KZbin videos, I’ve found that volunteering as a marshal at my local Parkrun has enabled me to get a much greater understanding of how people move, what injuries they may or are likely to get, when they are likely to get them and the important role that breathing, the emotions & mentality play in the context of movement. A study of anatomy is all about the practical to me.

Funny you mention drawing, I ended up here just to improve my art and anatomy videos made for art's sake never go past the surface. Glad to be learning here.

Bright , doctor , very bright ! " However you study anatomy ... however you break it up into chunks ... it's always wrong " !!! I feel like that sometimes !

Not sure how useful it is for medical students but 'Anatomy for Sculptors' series of books and website have some great resources for visualising musculoskeletal anatomy simply using 3D models and illustrations. They are a favourite among artists.

Hi, I've just found your page. Very helpful 👌 I'm in my 3rd year at uni studying Forensic science and at present I'm doing the Forensic anthropology module, so many bones!!!!! 😅 Any tips for learning bones! I have my own skeleton module at home.
@SamWebster2 ай бұрын
Having a physical skeleton is very helpful, and expensive skeletons have more details if you really need the details. My top tip would be making labelled drawings of the bones. I really see the shapes properly when I take time to do that. I also have to figure out what to label which is good for my memory.

Hey Lovely Sam xx Please may I ask what recording equipment you use for your videos as I'm looking to buy and uplevel my teachings - just using my iphone at the moment. Absolutely love your teachings and recommend you to all of my Anatomy students. Thank you so much !!!

Canon R6 with 24-70 f2.8 L lens, DJI wireless mics, Rode lavalier, but to be honest the most important bit is the lighting. I have lots of lights - try Aperture's big umbrellas and lights (they're cheaper than cameras but less exciting). Vlogs I don't light properly and tend to just use natural light or make use of the wide f2.8 aperture, but anatomy videos I light properly to try to show 3D shapes.

Question doc I have numbness in my right cudriceps (after I foam rolled my back around 1 year ago) its numb when I stand UP or walk, its very annoying and I dont know what to do... Do you know wich muscle or part cause numbness of The cuadriceps (at The beginning I had numbness from my quad until my fat finger of The right foot The after one session goes Back to The numb quad)
@SamWebster2 ай бұрын
I'm guessing the numbness is in the skin overlying quadirceps femoris. Have a look at the anatomy of the femoral nerve (kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZWbZqCPZ5qKa8ksi=lOINAwNaSWcyzIIS) and lateral cutaneous nerve of the thigh (kzbin.info/www/bejne/r5mYkJ2MgqaBd80si=2n5JcLBc2H-no38G).
