I’m late but this is really cool. I was one of the babies with a hole in my heart and I was always curious what was going on when I had it (it thankfully closed when I was 4) but I remember going to the hospital every week to get it monitored but I never knew why I was going there because I was so young. But when I learned why years later I always wanted to know so thank you!

Our son was born with pulmonary hypoplasia and they used prostin to keep the hole open, which decreased the load on the heart (one of the chambers wasn't fully filling?). Your video helped explain why they did this.... a little.
