The North bore the brunt of all the invasions on this beloved land. Though the south too had a share of attacks there were relatively longer periods of oeace. So cultyre and spirituality had a better chance of blosomming. I believe our civikusation is on the point of being reclaimed step by step. Sir,the concept of a sanctum without a form,without an image or an idol is so unique.I have never heard of this before.Are there many temples like these in Tamil Nadu? Is the process of sankalpa prathishta documented anywhere?

Yes actually the main Saiva temple in Jaffna, Srilanka is called nallur. Here murugan does not have a moolastanam. Instead a vel is put only for the people.

Here in Kerala, the concept of a temple without an idol is very common. Such temples are normally dedicated to Ayyappan and Bhagawathi, mostly Bhadrakali. In many old Ayyappan temples, mainly family shrines you will find only an empty sanctum, nothing else, during pooja a lamp is lit and pooja is done. In some temples only the peetam ( seat) will be there, in some a sword or bamboo cane ( mudra vadi) will be found and nothing else no trace of any idol as such.

In Sabarimala Manimandapam where the Jeevasamadhi of Ayyappaswamy is located, there is no idol, nothing except a shoolam or trident and a small raised platform nothing else.

Siddha tradition is evolving to the west we appreciate it more than the east the sun will shine in the west where brahmins travelled through the kalapani to work on the sugar cane fields .we practice more meditation less rituals and learn through computers the computers are the ultimate gurus and grace and samadhi can be obtained online I was I got grace by Ramana maharishi through looking at Ramana maharishi eyes on the internet .and got dicksha from siddha swami muktananda through his books . audiovisual .and mantra such is the power of siddha gurus especially sat gurus .who give Shakti pat -deeksha -lokananda samadhi sukham .the sun will rise in the west the spiritual sun .of Shakti pat leading our journey of kalapani to samadhi .

Today I learnt is get away from political religions if you want to get closer to god. For 1000 life you won't be liberated with mass god religion. Those entangled to hell heaven, or sin theory or god will come will never attain it. Blessed are those men who went away for crowd to seek oneself.
