Been there in early 70s. I was in training in Lackland AFB as student from Moroccan royal air force. A lot of good souvenirs.

Downtown SA appears to be in need of a “facelift” the city looks very run down and unimpressive. Like another commenter said it appears to have some potential.

Sad, but I wish all this existed in the 60s. That was the real San Antonio, Texas. Sideways full of people, not the empty streets we see now.
