Great thing is that these are generally common to abundant from coastal sage scrub to inland foothills and lower mountains. Some of my favorite hikes are in areas with these plants, since the aromas are intoxicating! Great video!

Really like this video, growing up in San Diego I always was drawn to the buckwheat it’s cool to know that I can make something with it. I’m a little sketched out by you encouraging people to eat toyon berries because I think that there is a lot of opportunity for mistaken identity. And people who don’t know how to identify plants could eat something wrong. Not to say I’m not excited about the prospect of trying them. Just saying, there’s some poison out there.I think you come across as a very educated so I think it’s important that you encourage people that don’t know what they’re doing to not try at random plants. Also would love to know if you have any classes in the area?
