Those are not trolleys they are trains. Look at the tracks. Trolley tracks are not like that. Those are train tracks so they are trains. Also there's crossing gates and they're joined together. Once again they're trains not trolleys.

I think they are called Light Rails or Trolley Light Rails.

@Matthew Vargas It's still a train. Look at the tracks and do you see the railroad crossings and hear the bells? I'm sure a trolley does not run on crossing signals.

@@karahanglais4748 so as an employee of MTS I will just say this... Years ago when the MTDB was still around the original plan was the name the light rail the San Diego Metropolitan Rail Association but they decided to name it the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System/ San Diego Trolley
