San Diego yoga teachers go virtual after city cracks down on beach yoga

On Friday, a federal judge ruled against two San Diego yoga instructors, who argued that their First Amendment rights were being violated.

The residents of PB have been complaining about Steve's obnoxious classes that take up every square inch of this rare and beautiful cliff area for over 10 years now. Steve has illegally collected tens of thousands of dollars in "donations" using a public space as his own private studio without paying a single cent in taxes. Whenever local residents attempt to access this area for relaxation his students make sure they feel uncomfortable or Steve sometimes even yells at them. And now Steve has arrogantly defied a court order to stop his classes by using a loophole to disobey the law and continue to abuse this public space for his own gains. Dont let his Namaste act fool you, he is the exact opposite of who he pretends to be.

It’s selfish to take over a swath of a park for any reason. You can’t golf there or let your dog run, a yoga class isn’t any different. It’s a shared space not your private gym.

You can either be a good example or a horrible warning. I fail to find the horrible warning from a yoga teacher. These lawmakers need to touch grass.

They literally made it easier for us regular folks who want to be there without doing Yoga to touch that grass. You're misusing that metaphor.

Bla bla bla. It’s being used for its intended purpose. They aren’t there all day long, and they aren’t doing anything destructive. Pretty certain ANYONE is WELCOME for FREE and he probably has a DONATION site or something. Get over yourselves if you think they are in the wrong. You need an actual life, you should try yoga

Yoga's great yeah but....... I would like to be able to enjoy that park without having to look over all the people limbs up in the air practicing it.

I don't see a problem with 3 or 4 people in a group but when it's 20 or 30 thats just cringe. They're obviously doing it now just for attention.
