@@danspanneut1108 it is that simple. Seattle is not as good as Detoit or SF. It wouldn't matter what rest they got, they got literally destroyed by both Detoit and SF, and it was not close. Heck, even the crappy Giants controlled the entire game against them. No you could use an excuse for lack of rest of these games were really close, but not with these games. Perhaps they beat the Giants, if that game is played over again. But the other two teams are just better. Hopefully Schneider and Mcdonald can make Seattle a championship caliber team once again. They are not very good right now.

​@trxe420 I'm sorry, but even if he's great at everything else, John Schneider's complete inability to build a solid O-Line and flippant dismissal of its importance is borderline unforgivable and extremely aggravating at least to me. There was a quote from (love him or hate him he's a football genius) Jim Harbaugh this off-season where he took the polor opposite approach to the O-Line than JS. The gist of the quote was that the O-Line should be the #1 priority and cornerstone of your entire roster! It effects _every_ other aspect of your team and building your roster from the inside out prioritizing the O and D lines is highly preferable to the other way around, which JS seems to do over and over again. I would personally prioritize building the trenches up first over and over before drafting RBs and WRs with 1st and 2nd round picks who can't even be used effectively because the trenches are so terrible! Basically I think JS largely has the exact opposite approach to roster building than what he should have and I'm so sick of it!

People overrated the Seahawks after the first three games. Bo Nix rookie first start. NE worst roster in the league. Miami no Tua, down to third string QB. It's great to get wins, it should be celebrated. Any win should be celebrated. However, not all wins are equal. And based on Seattle's roster, current performances, they do not look like an above average team. Fans were thinking they were legit contenders, or easily a playoff team, but they did not look closely to the play on the field.

Not literal torture for the 2013 season. We won every home game in '05 too, but yeah, hard to disagree it has mostly been a series of one letdown after another. Never a true solid era of excellence like the Chiefs, Patriots, Steelers, and 49ers have had. Shit, even the Packers being a seriously competitive team deep into the playoffs for so long is impressive, even with their only winning a couple Super Bowls in the past 30 years. Still better overall than Seattle!

Nothing to fix it??? Don't get me wrong, it's an obvious problem but we've spent all kinds of capital on both lines. Used a high draft pick or gave a big contract to Cross, Lucas, Haynes, Mafe, Nwosu, Hall, Jones, Williams, and Murphy. Just spent 4 draft picks on the trenches and re-signed Williams in the off-season. Say what you will about the on-field product but the trenches aren't Schneider's fault.

I honestly don’t think Macdonald can run the complex defensive packages that he wants to run with this personnel. Also a large problem seems to be the lack of depth and versatility. A lot of our players feel very one dimensional on defense and that’s the opposite of mikes philosophy. We have seen his scheme in action before he obviously knows what he’s doing but I don’t think his pieces are there and it’s forcing him to dummify it back. I think things will improve after this year but losing these 3 straight I think it’s safe to say this season is a wash cause our schedule is only going to get harder. As for the offense they just consistently shit the bed. You can forget about having a decent line cause John misses on the line consistently.

We’re getting boat raced on defense and not getting turnovers. At the same time the offense is turning the ball over multiple times most games. We just seem super bad. Fortunately for me I’m on of the people who don’t have Amazon so didn’t actually see any part of the game visually.

This is the first game where I think Geno played poorly. IMO 3 games in 11 days a bit of decision fatigue. But Aaron Rogers threw 3 picks and is still given grace. Grant a bit of that to Geno.

I don't agree, DK was deep and past the DB or safety (by 5+ yards) and ball was underthrown by 10 yards. It was on Geno. 1st Int was partially Geno's fault, but he had Bosa in his face because Forsythe got beat badly. Geno still shouldn't have made that throw though, probably should have thrown it away.

@@Djamonja why do I blame DK on the second INT? Look at the route he runs. He doesn’t run hard across the field or hard up the field. He starts to cross and then just lazily lists up the field. You actually made my point regarding the first INT. Geno had pressure in his face, a Forsythe problem I know, but he needs to protect the ball. He blindly threw with pressure in his face and never saw that Tyler (I think) had coverage both underneath and over the top. Geno throws it away then we have a chance to put points on the board.

I had high expectations coming into the season. This game has taught me that we are a average team and this is a development year. Which sucks because we have good talent on rookie contracts so this is when we are supposed to capitalize. I like Geno but he is not the guy that will get us a SuperBowl and that's okay. Not everyone can be that guy. We now need to prioritize QB in the offseason because he is not our future. I am going to watch the rest of the season in peace now knowing that we are a mid team and I've come to accept it. The players are undisciplined and they don't deserve my blood pressure rising. Mcdonald still has some ways to go but I believe he is our guy for now. Go hawks as always... but our ceiling for this season was exposed tonight.

The primary issue on this team is getting the ball ran down your throat every week. Our defense walks out there and gets pummeled on the ground seemingly by every team. Can't do anything downstream of that. Not to mention we can't run the ball for shit too. Only thing we can do is spread it out and throw for 350+. Outside of that this team can't do anything. Officially a building season for next year.

I'm giving them a free pass this game. This was Seattle's 3rd game in 10 days which is ridiculous scheduling. It makes NFL level preparation impossible and doesn't allow time to recuperate from injuries. Seattle clearly has some issues but I'll feel better about evaluating those issues when they've had a reasonable amount of rest and preparation next game.

Geno Smith was at his peak when he got his big $100+ million dollar contract, it's been downhill since then. He's gotten progressively worse, maybe his best times are now past him being 34. Not all players are like Brady, even Aaron Rogers is struggling. It might be time to consider Sam Howell who has potential for growth.

I'm not trying to make excuses for Geno on that play, but DK not playing like a big body wide receiver still bothers me and it will continue to bother me until he figures out how to do it. There was another big play that he lost because he didn't come back for the ball on top of the pick that he could have possibly broken up if he had come back for the ball. When he does try to high point the ball, he routinely mistimes his jumps. I'm a fan of the guy, I have his jersey but I've had this criticism of him for years and it seemingly hasn't gotten better. Also, not that it's any consolation now, but you don't need Amazon prime to watch Thursday night football, they do an official broadcast on Twitch on the TFN account.

Things that happen every time we play the Niners: Geno has a bad game We can't even lay a HAND on Brock Purdy (We got some pressure, which was an improvement) We can't force a fumble or interception Kenneth gets stopped after 1 yard or he loses yards (That changed tonight as well which was also improvement) They run the ball like it's nothing They seemingly complete every pass they need to (Almost) EVERY SINGLE TIME they're on 3rd and long, they get a long play or a touchdown They win by at least 10 points I'm just sick and tired of that team and I hope they don't become the Mary Sues again.

This loss was on the bad throws by Geno once on our own end of the field and once when we were in scoring position . We lose by 12 and the turnovers cost us 12. It's not science...lose the turn over battle...lose the game. At the end of half..Lockett and Nijgba run a "pick". Lockett plows forward and Njigba cuts underneath to the outside, wide open...in the endzone...and Geno flicks it to lockett.. who wasn't expecting it and wasn't open...the primary was obviously Njigba...the pick was designed for Njigba. That's was Geno's brain fart! and the bad over throws...this was Geno's loss.

It is clear this team is not a Super Bowl team, likely not even a playoff team. With that in mind, I would like to see the ‘hawks trade DK at the deadline. I guarantee a team gives us at least a 1st round pick, maybe two. DK is an athletic freak, but his hands and temperament, are weak as hell. Doesn’t make sense to pay him $30mil+ a year when our offense is on the sideline all game cuz our D can’t stop the run and we can’t protect our QB. Kind of leaning towards trading Geno too, but with a better Oline, Geno could be consistently good and not as streaky. Also, side note, Seahawks are supposed to sell after this season and Jeff Bezos is reportedly trying to buy them. The team is valued at $8 billion, and Bezos conveniently just sold about $8.5 billion of his Amazon stock. At this rate, I would not be surprised, at all, if Bezos comes in and clears house starting with John Schneider
