Sloppy is the best word to describe Seahawks for the past 5 (or even more) years. The number of times they forced 3rd and long and got burned is incredible (like 1st Giants drive last week - 3rd & 17, short pass into 1st down with a couple of pats along the way). On offense its not much different, they were notoriously bad in the red zone last year and it doesn't seem like there will be much improvement with this half-assed plays

Same thing the past two/three years. Last year it started fine, but went to shit and now this season looks like a rerun with a new defensive coach. I dont get it.

@@tobiascore I don’t get it either. Against Denver it was some of the best tackling I’ve seen. From there every week it got worse and worse. If we tackled like we did in week one we would probably be 4 and 2 or 5 and 1.

So far this season other than the names being changed, I see the same exact glaring issues that have plagued this franchise for the last 3+ seasons! Lack of skilled players where they are needed, lack of discipline and that from the players! TURNOVERS TURNOVERS TURNOVERS! Coaches don’t go unscathed either, for lack of ability to recognize personnel changes by the opponents and adjusting to them. Play calling! And defense as a whole! It’s going to take MONEY AND TIME TO FIX THESE ISSUES! 6 wins at most for this team. Geno isn’t the savior we all hoped he would be! Seeing him on the sidelines Thursday night looked liked a defeated man. A true leader never shows defeat to anyone! I guess we will again learn the hard way.

Pathetic performance by this defense 3 weeks in a row. This Sam Fran game Seattle was terrible at all three levels. Defense, Special Teams, and Offense.

Ya, Geno didn't play a good game, but he's running for his life ALOT and can't get rhythm at all. Pressures were off the hook and he was only sacked ONCE with 30 seconds left. All cuz of him, our O Line is atrocious. So he's getting away better than last year, getting rid of the ball quicker. Just needs half the more time, at least. And DK I'm not sure what's up with him, concrete hands man. Go up and get it Like you said, I've played ball myself and it looks like when the ball is mid air and it isn't in prime placement where you're running right under it, it looks like the ball is in mid air, he's deciding to throw a DIVA fit in his head and just not trying, with like an attitude. Like he was robbed of a highlight on ESPN because he's not gliding perfectly under it showcasing his awesomeness for the world to see. I've done it, I see that same body language. The biggest problem is the defense, tackling, Baker on that play is what Wyman has been saying for 3 years now, they are YOGGING to the ball. A whole crowd of joggers man. I know that Kittle, Deebo and McCaffrey are good, but they ALL don't play like this every team they play, on every single play. The yards after contact is so ABYSMAL I just LOSE my mind man. It's so insufferable to watch Deebo and Kittle especially, just never stop falling, stretching, stumbling twisting and turning for 5 - 7 - 10 more yards every time they get the ball. Never do they get tackled first contact. GHEEEEEZUS DUDE!! It's a tackling Virus. With that, our offense does the opposite, they don't push for every yard. For example, NJIGBA catches that ball I think late under a minute 2nd quarter, way to the left sideline and nobody is near him. He has 2 solid yards before the sidelines to turn up filed and get into FG range quicker, and he just jogged, trotted out of bounds. Yes you need to stop the clock but you need yards for the FG and you are right at the sidelines already, impossible to get tackled in bounds. Go for more yards. The opposite mentality, Kittle would have been 15 more yards in 5 seconds. We seem to not have the same yards after contact mentality as the Niners. It's an attitude, a mentality to never die, push to the bitter end. We lack that and I know they train for that, you can see it in the Niners, every player. I'm going to Subscribe to your channel I don't have another Seahawks local sports sub but I like your positive but just frustrated tone. That play you broke down on Bakers effort is what sums this defense up the past 3 years now, Wyman calls it YOGGING on 710 KIRO ESPN Radio. It's funny how he breaks it down, he's pissed too, same topic.

Facts, people wanna act like Stone Forsythe had a good game against hutch. All because he had 0 sacks. Yet people don’t watch the game and praise Geno for his pocket awareness and his ability to get out of getting sacked because hutch was bullying stone feet the whole game. Extra note: that 2nd interception wasn’t genoa fault, he was expecting DK to finish straight not fall back off diagonally

100% agree with everything said. Geno has been playing great and this was his first bad game, but he still at least looked like he cared about the team. I personally think if DK can't change his behavior we should trade him. We have a very deep receiver room and to be honest, he is not essential to this team.

This is crazy, i also thought that the defense looked like they were running slow at points, almost like they were jogging just like you said. Also the penalties have been costing us the games just like that Dk touchdown. It seems like on every single important play that we have there is always a penalty, geno throwing a pick, our WR not catching the ball or our defense just allowing their offense to walk all over us.

You clearly don’t know Purdy’s stats. 1) His 10 yard split is 1.64 seconds (fastest on the 49ers). 2) He’s the 4th best QB when he has +2.55 seconds in the pocket. 3)He’s clocked the longest pocket time in the NFL (3.39 seconds) because of his scrambling speed and pocket awareness. 4) He’s 4th in rushing yards (as of week 5)Purdy had 20 plays against the Seahawks where his pocket time was +2.5 seconds! It’s gets tiring to hear how much disrespect Brock gets as a Top 10 QB who’s been to the Super Bowl yet only earns $985k ranking him 67th compared to all other current NFL QB’s. He’s 23-8 (including playoffs) So yeah….the Seahawks suck….because Purdy embarrassed them the last 5 times he beat them.

Yo, I’ve watched all of Brock’s games since being a starter. He’s been escaping the pocket like this, he’s gotten better. The outside world doesn’t know shit about Brock Purdy. I watch more Brock Purdy than you, that’s my proof.
