County jails and State prisons have armories so they have plenty of guns. This isn’t a gun issue it’s a lack of control issue within the system. CA state prisons are having similar issues. As the state continues its push for these hug a thug reforms within the criminal justice system the inmates are taking full advantage of the lack in punishment and accountability for their actions. Ask anyone who works in a jail or prison and they will tell you how backwards and out of control it is now.

And I saw the conditions there forced to live in,& the food there served to eat, it actually looked just like the Slop they feed to pigs & the guards were always yelling at the inmate’s for no reason. And also what no one knows is that one of the supposed inmate’s was really placed inside the jail to gather information about the conditions inside the jail & hoe the guards & staff treat the inmate’s

@@latinking9793 My son spent 6 months in jail, then 19 months in prison for repeated DUI infractions. He says the food is not from a good restaurant, just the basics, but it meets guidelines on minimum daily requirements, and there’s plenty of it. In jail, some guards were asses, and some treated inmates with respect and courteously unless an inmate was being a dickhead. In prison, it was much more relaxed, most inmates had jobs they worked for 40 hours, and the guards mixed well with them. That’s not like what you described at all

@Reach41 Well I didn't say all the guards I said guards yes there are some guards that actually treated the inmate’s with respect. And for the food I can't say I know for sure & I also didn't say it's every day that the food was no good. But the day I went there I actually seen one of the trays of food served to an inmate & yes it did look like Pig slop. I'm also a volunteer Chaplain for inmate’s & I'm glad to hear that you're son wasn't mistreated while in jail.

Watch how you treat inmates. Honestly a lot of attacks are based off of treatment by each individual. I worked in this field for years and never had a issue but I treated all the same regardless of charges and I knew because I was the booking officer. I had no protection between the myself and inmates. I booked in killers, predators and etc.

Staffing shortages, a nation wide issue.., with higher minimum wage companies "cannot" afford a full staff. So now we have limited services everywhere, it's an epidemic in the US. All because people complain they want a livable wage. Corporations are not going to just be nice and decide to reduce their 10 digit net profit margins to pay you more money just so you can afford to buy that house you always wanted. Not happening.
