Frisco is getting into the big leagues with it's own railroad station, joining Los Angeles and other big cities with major train stations.

FRISCO had a Train hub in the past, 1937 the Pacific Daylight operated from SF to Los Angeles. as well as other trains but the OIL & GAS, Tires, Battery, Motorcoach companies conspired to buy out train companys and shut them down. then rolling out busses in their place.

July 2019 -- I hope they solve the problems that have plagued the new project and created delays. Projects of this complexity take a long time to build and there are many things that require monitoring to assure a high level of quality for the completed complex. I have read numerous nasty comments that are tied to California's political leanings and I always ignore those for what they are. This is not Iowa or Indiana or Texas -- this is the most progressive city in the most progressive state, where creative innovation is king. Bravo Bay Area!

UPDATE: 6/11/2021: AS OF THIS BLOG, ELECTRIFIED CALTRAIN ONE MILE EXTENSION INTO THE SFTC IS SAID TO OCCUR BETWEEN FY 2025-2026, OF COURSE IT DEPENDS ON FUNDING & POSSIBLE FUTURE LAWSUITS. AS OF NOW, CALTRAIN SEEMS TO BE ON SCHEDULE FOR CALTRAIN TO ENTER THE SFTC IN THE TIME SPAN INDICATED ABOVE. GOOD LUCK TO ALL AT CALTRAIN.

Bay Area's working class live in Oakland, Richmond, Fremont, and El Cerrito. Those are all East Bay cities. As for San Francisco? People will be able to make enough to live here.
