Monty has still got his squeaky squee, but what a dad he is. He has had to stepped up a gear this season and learned fast that no sooner one lot of feed has been gobbled up that another is needed. Monty might be looking for a mother figure, but, like it or not, he has to grow up this year, with 4 ravenous mouths to feed. And he’s doing an excellent job. Who would’ve thought we’d have Soledad X 4 this year 😂😂😂

Having watched my own city’s falcons (Hamilton, Ontario - no live webcam but they have two webcams that upload stills every 5 seconds - I’d link but I don’t know if I’m allowed to make links on KZbin comments), CalFalcons, Lawrencium’s not-so-little floofs and these guys.. I swear, these are about the size of our momma (McKeever) when ours were the same age as San José’s floofs. Wonder if we have at least 2 females here? Ours turned out to be all girls XD

I'm curious about all the vocalizing in this nest. You'd think they'd try to avoid announcing "peregrine nest in the 'hood." Monty, especially, is very noisy. Is he announcing that he's the one responsible for the meal? Is he hungry, and hoping Hartley will share nestovers? Or was there really a threat that just passed quickly? Or??? Whatever ... loved the video and watching awkward fluffballs stomping around the nest. Can they imagine that one day they'll be aerial acrobats? Thanks, as always, for a delightful video--and commentary!

Annie chicks are most well behaved. Especially that little one wait for bigger siblings to have some and then swoop in between. Eaglets would kill their sibs for food. Peregrines are harmonious and female takes care that all get a share! Perhaps the fishes that they get are not enough. I don't know how fishes fill their big stomach!

These are Hartley & Monty's chicks, but they, like Annie & Archie's chicks in Berkeley, are very well behaved, indeed. Thanks for watching.

@@skhideaways I already know they are hartleys chicks. And you do a great job in compiling all this. I have been watching annie since 3 years and that's why I notice that she has a pattern in feedings. Not like you bring many feedings at once.
