They’re great. They have little gift shop-type trinkets, books (about cooking, flower arrangement, tea, etc.), cups, bentos, kitchen accessories- all Japan-related, of course. Don’t forget the other shops, like Nichi Bei Bussan for trinkets, kimono/yukata, zori/geta, tabi socks, uchiwa, etc.

This whole neighborhood was a giant garden with glass houses one after another. Mostly all Japanese American owned. Flowers some tomatoes berries of all kinds gardenias fragrances all wafted together. Heaven!
