@@oveou5638 The only one being an asshole is you! The POINT he was making is that you don't have to be a woman to appreciate a good love story & you don't have to be lesbian to appreciate a good love story b/t 2 women. I'm lesbian & I *LOVED* his comment! Same goes for the hetero woman who posted just below your rude reply. She doesn't need to be lesbian to sob about this touching story!

Awe, your reaction killed me. Very genuine. Glad you liked. But yeah, San Junipero was a virtual reality environment which let seniors sample it over the internet: how they met. Then they had the option to transfer their consciousness there permanently at death, making San Junipero a kind of virtual heaven. At the end you see both of their chips being set beside each other into the huge mainframe.

Just beautiful.

And i'm not sure whether i've seen the use of credits in a show so absolutely mess with everyones reactions like these do, because the first thought we all got is that the episode is over and you don't know what happened in the end to Kelly and Yorkie as a couple. You reacted to this perfectly and beautifully. And then, in between each of the main credits, you do! I really hope the writer, Charlie Brooker, watches your reaction video because you will have given him all that he could have dreamed of from his masterpiece here.
@MonkeyDLars4 жыл бұрын
You guys imagine if there really was something like heaven. The chip was something like a backup of the mind, the consciousness which was planet in the servers forever. But the actual mind and soul went to heaven after death. Meaning all these people that decided to manifest their consciousness in this virtual reality missed out on actual heaven. Something we couldn't even imagine while being alive, something not comparable to eternity but much greater. Crazy to think about.. i am not religious, but the thought is quite interesting
@NeilLewis773 жыл бұрын
Ye as an atheist I thought, well there's no heaven so might as well make one. I love Charlie Brooker.

Well, that datacenter is made of matter and runs on energy, so it's not like it's an eternal afterlife anyway. It might last for hundreds or even thousands of years but eventually it will shut down and everyone in there will die at last. So I don't think they're missing out on anything, it's just a lot of extra time. I don't think there's any risk of getting bored either, since there's no real reason they have to stop involving themselves in the goings on of the material world. You could even get a job, as long as it permits working from home - though I imagine it would take some inventive paperwork to hire someone who's legally dead.

Regarding the San Junipero Project: I would absolutely do it if I was terminal or cchemically ill. However if the opportunity had arisen to "go permanent" once my soul/consciousness/being had discorporated from my corporal shell, I am still on the fence.

A few days < 39 years..Not to mention the 49 years with her Husband who, as she said she spent her exciting, intimate and boring years with.. This relationship is new and fresh but they haven't put in the time yet..
