In her letter she says she wants to move forward (from what), improving our workplace environment (so you know there's trouble already) and heal relationships (bc you created hostility in the workplace?). She goes on later, despite the political games, I'm so proud of the women and men (flipped) who continue to do the hard work of protecting and serving..... when you get hired by an elected official there are always politics at play. This tells me she knew there was turmoil in-house, and it was effecting morale. Tend to believe the Captains! Time for a temporary Sheriff until the voters can decide.
