Was so sorry to see you retire your sheep skin seat. When mine gets dirty I throw it in the washer, hang to dry and comb it with your fingers. Just like new. I have had it for 15 years, not sure how long the sheep had it, but it has out lasted 3 motorcycles and given me a comfy ride for over 300k.

Yes it would have completely made it longer if I would have liked to continue riding with it. But in the wet conditions it somehow soaked up so much water that my pants got completely wet even hours after a rainfall. And before heading to a next big adventure I as well would like to exchange the seat as I am not completely happy with the stock seat in general - so hopefully the sheepskin is not needed then anymore (I only got it because there were no other seats available at the time I bought the Tenere - and it did a pretty good job after I had really some pain at the first thousands kilometer riding without it…).

Hi Lea, sorry to here you won’t now be going to Portugal. I was hoping to bore my wife with “ I’ve ridden that road and I’ve been there”! The Picos or Piscos are a popular destination for us Brits as they are a shortish ride from the ferry ⛴ Ports of northern Spain, and offer beautiful riding and scenery if the weather is kind. My travel buddies love the coast road also as they can indulge in eating everything and anything that comes from the sea 🌊.

You answer the question yourself: because it’s an awesome place to live (and as well a very good place to work). For me there are not so many other places I want to live at besides of Munich in Germany and Zurich in Switzerland - from both you can reach the mountains quick, are close to Italy, and have fantastic nature and lakes around the corner. And summers are nice and there is snow in wintertimes ☺️

@@Got2Go Definitely agree, I am so happy for you. Another place I love in Europe is the Italian Dolomites - awesome scenery. Sadly, now I am living downunder and with Covid still impacting travel, I seldom get back to Europe. However, Australia is a big country and has some amazing scenery and with New Zealand on the doorstep, I shouldn't complain. Thanks for taking the time to respond, it is much appreciated. I have recently taken delivery of KTM 390 Adventure and plan to explore a bit more off road, a new challenge for me. You continue to inspire with your video adventure series, thank you. PS: There are some amazing Alpine roads in Australia, if you are ever planning a trip down this way, let me know and l can provide you with some route ideas or maybe even ride some together.
