I have tears in my eyes. I looked for this song for 30 years! I had video taped it (recorded the video with a device for kids) from Mtv in the 90s when I was a kid. After decades of not even knowing how to begin searching, today when lying in bed sleepless, suddenly Terrence Terrent popped up in my mind. I searched it, with someone spelling correction, voilla, here it is! I have no idea why my brain did this. Why now? Why here? I wasn't looking for it, I wasn't thinking about it... It's like magic! Just like the song and the singer are. Imagine being so special, that kids don't forget you for decades and keep looking for you. And boy oh boy all of the memories came back: my friends, my school, my bike, my first kiss, Shom my dog, our old car 🥲❤❤ Music is magic

I can't imagine why it would be so hard to find this song in 30 years. It seems so easy. You just type "Delicate". And especially if you had recorded the whole video, how can you not know the song? And did you know the name so it came back to mind? What do you mean searched it with someone spelling correction? But yes I often remember things when I have given up trying. It can be amazing. In the middle of the night is also a time when I sometimes have inspiration come out of nowhere.

I've been looking for this song for about ten years. All I remembered was the little melody repeated in the background, and that wasn't enough for Shazam-type software, nor did anybody I asked recognize it. I had given up. In 1993? Wow. I could swear I knew this song before the war here in Bosnia. I thought it was from 1991 or early 1992. In 1993 I didn't have an opportunity to listen to music and probably wouldn't have heard it until the late '90s. I divide songs into two categories: before the war and after the war. Помню, я на новогодней видеодискотеке в 11-ом классе, когда дискжокеи объявили белый танец и песню Delicate этой не очень хорошо проговариваемой на слух, особенно для русского уха англоязычной группы Terence Trent d'Arbi, я пригласил на белый танец Наташу Герасименко из потока на два года моложе, из 9-б класса, умную и красивую девушку с каштановыми волосами из нашего школьного актива. ❤😊 Помню, Наташа Герасименко после окончания нашей общей и родной 52-ой школы с золотой медалью в 1993 году поступила на тот же самый факультет Информатики и вычислительной техники нашего университета нашего города, что и я со своей одноклассницей и со своей тогда будущей женой Татьяной, но только двумя годами позже, поскольку она нас на два года моложе. Помню, на нашей кафедре Теории информатики стажировался аспирант с Кипра, звали его Никос Анастасиадис и между Наташей Герасименко и и Никосом Анастасиадисом, помню, начался любовный роман, который уже к окончанию Наташей Герасименко нашего факультета Информатики и вычислительной техники и нашего университета с красным дипломом, перерос уже в большую любовь. Наташа Герасименко поначалу после окончания 5-го курса, решила поступать учиться в аспирантуру, и уже её научный руководитель дал ей рекомендацию на поступлению в аспирантуру. Срок стажировки будущего мужа Наташи Герасименко - Никоса Анастасиадиса был заключён с нашим университетом на три года. Стажёр с Кипра Никос Анастасиадис приехал на стажировку, когда Наташа перешла уже на 3-й курс университета. До этого на 1-ом курсе у Наташи Герасименко была неудачная любовь с одним парнем из нашего факультета Информатики из потока на три года старше Наташи Герасименко и на год нас старше нас, поскольку он параллельно ухаживал ещё за другой девушкой с нашего потока, что Наташа Герасименко ему простить не могла, посчитав это как измену ей, после чего Наташа Герасименко разочаровалась в родных русских парнях и предпочла искать свою любовь за пределами родной страны, начав переписываться с иностранцами из стран Запада. И тут к нам в наш альма матер - на наш факультет Информатики в наш университет приезжает молодой стажёр с Кипра, который был старше Наташу Герасименко на пять лет, уже закончивший на Кипре в местном Никосийском университете бакалавриат и магистратуру. Уже после окончания нашего общего альма матера в 1998 году Наташа Герасименко поучившись два месяца в аспирантуре вдруг заявляет, что я нашла работу на Кипре по своей специальности по программированию и уезжаю на Кипр, но не без помощи её тогда ещё будущего мужа грека-киприота Никоса Анастасиадиса, после чего Наташа написала заявление об отчислении из аспирантуры по собственному желанию, чем и огорошила тогда своего научного руководителя, который и на нашем потоке читал лекции и вёл у нас практические занятия. Но как говорится, неисповедимы пути Господни. Потом перебравшись на Кипр, Наташа Герасименко помолвилась и расписалась со своим будущим мужем Никосом Анастасиадисом и через полгода весной 1999 года моя бывшая одношкольница по моей родной 52-ой школе и одновузница по альма матеру по факультету Информатики нашего универа, сыграла свадьбу, и Наталья Герасименко стала по мужу Натальей Анастасиадис, там у неё с мужем Никосом на Кипре родились двое детей, и со временем Наташа приняла кипрское гражданство, не расставаясь с российским гражданством, и в каждый свой отпуск приезжает в свой родной город к родителям и навещает своих старых школьных и университетских друзей. Вот такая вот романтичная история произошла с моей бывшей одношкольницей и одновузницей по альма матеру Наташей Герасименко, ныне по мужу Натальей Анастасидис. 😅😊
