Massive Developments Coming to Converse, Texas

This is good to hear...one of my main complaints living off of i-10 here in Converse is the lack of close amenities; it'd be nice not to have to go to the Forum or to Windcrest/NE SA for stuff.

Agreed. I live in a nice, cozy new home out here that I'm really happy with so far, but it feels like I moved out to the middle of nowhere sometimes.

We are 2 years in here in San Antonio, and are moving to the Converse area soon. I too wonder when there will be closer amenities because just going back and forth to the sales office...there's nothing for miles. LOL! Praying that put an HEB close.

I see a bunch of construction vehicles out there right now, looks like they’re clearing / flattening land. I hope it is an H‑E‑B. There is also a plot of land right by the IDEA school in converse that I am hoping they add some restaurants or maybe even a small neighborhood market

@@jessicahardyway3509 my wife is still in the military so we received orders to a new locale. Cibolo is nice, we preferred Schertz because it was a little closer to Randolph and a little less congested when we bought in 2014. Both areas are great. Depends on budget and what your needs are, Marion is nice as well.

@@zacharychristman9538 Thanks for the reply. Well be stationed at Fort Sam Houston and heard good things about Cibolo expect the traffic being bad that way going to Fort Sam. Our daughters school is 4 mins away from the house we’re going to buy which is what sold us. It’s just the long driving days is what scares me.

@@jessicahardyway3509 there’s a development in Schertz along 1518 that’ll lead right to I10 or Marion if you haven’t bought yet. That’ll make the drive a little easier. But Cibolo is great and you’ll be close to I35. If you’re buying in Cibolo make sure there are no foundation issues. If you do choose Cibolo check out a few family owned businesses…Ice House Bar (if you drink and like live music), Makos on the Creek (family friends of ours) and Harmons BBQ. It's going to kill our property taxes, and as far as the substations go, those aren't exactly what we need. We seriously need an extention of the Bexar county courthouse, it's crazy having to drive all the way downtown SA to file any Courthouse papers or file probates.

Yes and no. Depending on your direction of travel and traffic congestion, it can take anywhere between 45-90min to get to Lackland main gate.

I need some help from you guys in San Antonio On September 20th of last year I ended up in a psychiatric emergency room Of Texas vista I was homeless at the time and had no phone Another patient there asked me what happened to you and I said I've had so much trauma the past few years I can't take it anymore and i burst into tears This man that was in the room comes over to me put his arms around me And let's me cry on his shoulder I didn't realize at the time but he started crying too and he said to me I'm gonna start looking for won't stop until I find you Just to make you happy And then we got into This real deep discussion About the different levels of h*** and how we want to send his abusers there And then I told him about a month earlier I had saved the man's life in Atlanta Georgia And his response was I want to spend my life with You Then we were about to have another deep discussion but then they called him to go up to the Psych unit And the look on his face cause he knew we were about to be separated The look on his face you could see His heart breaking As he was walking down the hall I called out to him I love you Aiden and he called back and said I love you Kevin And that was the last I saw of him I have been searching like crazy ever since for him but been unable to find him I'm hoping somebody that reads this will know him He's been to all the psyche units in San Antonio His name is Aidan Estrada he is about 36 Or 37 years old Shoulder length dark hair And he lives in San Antonio Please help I know that I want this man in my life for the rest of my life Aiden, please call me 979 661 4585 Kevin
