Wow the similarities of 5 Ancestor Fist Ngo Kun Samchen form. I trained in Goju Ryu...and Shotokan...and then I met Sifu Bonnifacio Lim...who trained in the Ngo Kun System in the Philippines and starting seeing how the Okinawa Systems and Southern Chinise are very similar in a lot of their forms. You have great information and thanks for shairing.

Really interesting, just getting to grips with Hangetsu. I think I will turn my attention to Sanchin to start building a solid foundation. Only a year in to my training but enjoying the benefits of moving, the best treatment for my arthritis yet. Thank you

As someone battling reactive arthritis, I agree that this is excellent training for coping with this condition. Thanks for watching and for your input.

As a Shorin Ryu practitioner I always thought Sanchin was a just a conditioning exercise. I couldn’t have been more wrong! Going to add this kata into my training. Could we see more Sanchin videos in the future??

Dan, one question: What are the ropes at the wall of your Dojo for? Are they Go Ju Ryu Training Tools?
@DanDjurdjevicplus3 ай бұрын
@@Highlander88 they are exercise/stretching aids. We use them for pulling exercises, support when doing yoga postures (including inverted), general stretching and some drills.
