@@namelessband4L123 Had my husband been murdered that might have felt extremely uncomfortable. He died of a heart attack while he was at work, so my brain didn't really make the connection. I think, if anything, I was able to use the Sole Survivor's situation as an outlet for my grief. It's rather similar to the writing I do. Journaling never did much for me, but I can create a fictional character and pour all the chaotic feelings into a person who exists only in my mind. I'm not sure that answers your question, but there you have it.

Great video! For anyone looking for shovels in Sanctuary, there are 2 present at the beginning of the game: one leaning up against the wall at the Rosa house and another lying down in the driveway of the.... second unscrappable (blue) house from the entrance bridge. There's also one in the basement behind the prepper guy's house. If you want them, throw them in a mailbox so you don't accidentally scrap them. :)

I most recently had a build inspired by the walled city of Kowloon. I built a walled structure of the concrete blocks from the Warehouse parts and built it 1 block short of the upper bound limit (I used County Crossing as it had a big, flat surface to use). I then built a generator shack, then started building haphazardly from the top down. I made it mazelike and dangerous with lots if exposed lighting and a mix of the more ramshackle shack bits and mis-matched metal walls. I then spread out random-ass light strings, cycling lights, fancy chandeliers, any sort of random lights. Although I didn't put a lot of effort into the interiors (I just used Sim Settlements to create interior plots) I am happy with the warren of stairs, quarters, dangerous drops, sparks, and other mess in the actual structure. Had to abuse the heck out of the settlement size glitch though...

I never thanked you for your tutorials. I use a lot of the lessons I learned from the no mod shop and even helped me and my spouse plan furnishing our apartment using it as a fun improvised CAD. A lot of build tutorials have architecture tastes a bit different from my own and your style vibes a lot closer to my own. Nothing wrong with other youtubers' styles, though because everyone has different tastes. I've since broke down and started using mods but the fundamentals of the no mod shop are still essential for making things look right. Also for your future Far Harbor updates, I think you'll find that clear weather shells doesn't last long especially by the Lumber Yard, which is a shame because the natural unfogged palette of colors for that DLC is beautiful and vibrant

Saw another builder video, make grow tables out of Vault Table, Rug, and plants and they will grow. Also echo purple lights.. can the square lights be placed horizontally under a fluorescent fixture? Or even a box fluorescent light covered in purple tile lights. Another idea is use the conduits as distribution pipes over the growing beds, about 6" above the surface. Could also attach an alarm clock or small electronic device over the pipe to simulate a ph/water quality meter. Someone mentioned aquaponics (using fish water as a nutrient source for the plants) and I was wondering on how to build a large tank... 3 concrete walls and a glass wall, snap water on top, insert fish somehow (where to get fish.. mahkra packing?).

Very nice, I made a furniture store, using all the furniture, rugs, and stuff from the Sanctuary houses. For each house put the rug outside the house and then put the furniture on it and then moved the rug into the building. Made living room, Kitchen, and office sections in the store using only what I could move of the original items. Made it in the same place you made this. Make a bar on the other side of the 'workstation house'. used a lot of glass also. Inside area and outside seating. Currently I have a covid testing station as the entry at the bridge. Tried to do that glass railing idea you did in another video, but due to having 3 flat roof ties I am having issues getting two of them up there on the flat roof edge. Might have to do some "Paul Glitching" - heehee.

I can imagine how complicated that was, since i managed to get tuned onto FO76's biilding System and its limitations, i miss all the tricky and hard to use freedom from Fallout 4. Its kinda sad that Bethesda (maybe do to man power in covidtimes, i'm not quallified to judge this properly) focus only on 76's community and gives 76 allmost everything Fallout 4's building community wanted. Still have hope for stuff like towel and toiletpaper holders on creation club.😅 I think the most awesome thing is how straight you managed to place that garden plots. At this point, I can only assume that your name is Emmitt, because you're the Master Builder. 🎶 "Everything is awesome!" 🎶 Edit: having all the wiring and such hidden like you do, WHICH IS AMAZING, is a bit immersion breaking to me. I kind of like having haphazard generators and wires. You mentioned in a much earlier video that if the Vault Dweller knew how to build a generator, then they would know how to wire a house, but we don't actually know that the Vault Dweller knows how to build a generator. All we know is that one is available through the workshop. It could be that the generators were already IN the workshops. It's not like home generators are umcommon irl. Anyway, that's my headcanon, and you're the best!

4:20 Just FYI plants dont need UV light. They just need red and blue light. Plants dont get any benefit from green light, so you dont even need a white light source. A mix of red and blue is enough and can save you a lot of energy by not projecting the unused green. Most grow lights are now LEDs that give off a purple light.

Since you’re the only one I’ve seen comment recently, have you built this? I was trying to make something similar and he said the concrete ceiling tiles snap onto the garden plots but it doesn’t work for me.

There is a grave site which has Shem Drowne's grave in Boston. I had found a shovel there.

Hi Paul, great video as always! I rarely put items on tables, like how you put bags of fertilizer and corn, etc., as i find they will eventually fall through and i just can't be bothered picking up and replacing them. Do you have the same issue after you've posted your videos?
@SkooledZone
@SkooledZone 3 жыл бұрын
Yeah mine do too. It's because Bethesda programmed the wrong load order into the game. Small items first instead of big items first. That means the small items on tables appear before the larger tables they're on. Hopefully they fix that in Fallout 5. Here's one way to fix the problem for now: kzbin.info/www/bejne/emiZeYVmaJ6geqs

Just some updated knowledge for you no one uses fluorescent lights to grow and haven’t for over 20 years lol they aren’t powerful enough to grow plants especially compared to LEDs designed specifically for growing plants, grow lights specifically go up to an average 1000 watts where as fluorescent is roughly 60-100 at best and that’s really giving it a benefit of a doubt and even in greenhouses you still need extremely powerful lights and certain spectrums which fluorescent can’t provide. You’ll get roughly 80% failure rate at min which if your growing food is a massive waste of food.

Of course, of course. But those were the closest to UV lights that they have in the build menu. I did mention hydroponics. ;-)

Man I missed Fallout normally use My XBOX one. But the bugs or its just my XBOX. I had no access to my structures, power and resources in the workshop mode and I got to another profile and same thing. So now I use my PC.

Someone probably already told you or you've found shovels by now - THE SINK HOLE nearby Greentop Nursery. Drop into the Sinkhole, kill the roaches + ghouls. There is guaranteed ONE shovel on the ground down in there 😁

I’ve seen a lot of videos of your stuff and they’re awesome. I have a question though what about the vault it’s underground I’ve never seen anybody really builder do anything with that. Have you worked on that or do you have a link you could post to that. That would be really cool would love to see what you made

Are you talking about building in Vault 88? Or are you talking about using Vault materials above ground?

That could have been done without the wifi glitch. I don't use it anymore because I used it a lot at the boathouse and my power came up red in build mode. I took away all power generators and still had lights on in a 2x2 area with no power. Long story short I found out that the wifi glitch powered up the power line itself. When I accidentally deleted the power line the light turned off and the powered somehow went green. Yes using the wifi glitch can power the wire that is supported to be deleted

I would have added another set of glass walls on the top floor to gain more space at this level of the building. I did the same building for a player home.

Indeed, but interestingly enough, Sanctuary has a max ceiling height of like 4-5 stories. I actually tried to make it a level higher and then I couldn't add the angled roofs on top of that.
