A brushless system will definitely help the wheelies come back

Oh for sure!

It looks so much better with those tires. Looked like a kids RC with the stock wheels

I totally agree!

I just bought one of these for my nephew, I have a 4x4 stampede, brushed originally but I swapped it for a castle brushless system when the titan 12t stopped working. But I was so surprised how many wheelies this 2wd brushed pops! I need to grab a wheelie bar for it otherwise the body’s gonna get all scraped up

That’s awesome! Yeah the Stampede 2wd is definitely a wheelie machine!

I recommend sealing with gearbox case with electrical tape. Just line it on the inside and rocks wouldn’t come inside. The small clicking can be from small debris, some you can’t really see only if you get a good close look at it. I did this with my slash and had no problems with clicking/stripped spur gears since. You should try it.

You mean to tape the motor?

Nice truck you should reglue the back tyres. And put brushless power with metal spur gear. Slowly upgrade that sucker to its best potential. Nice one brother

Thanks bro!

Omg, why did it die so abruptly! Are there any mods on this car or I should expect mine to burn like this? 😂
@RCKnockout2 жыл бұрын
Mine has some upgraded tires and it’s running the high speed gearing….I would definitely be ready for the stock motor to go though…even running a stock setup

Sounds like maybe a loose screw on the drive shaft. That's what it sounded like when my rustler did that

Ofc it will survive the stampede is the most durable and btw thanks for helping me

Yooo I’m doing the same thing with my stampede 2wd

Nice!
@a-team78682 жыл бұрын
i dont think its doing wheelies becuz of high speed gearing plus being on uneven terrain
@RCKnockout2 жыл бұрын
Yeah the high speed gearing is definitely the main reason
@joseCalderon19762 жыл бұрын
Good stuff as usual bud. Yeah, from what I've seen, the stampede is not that durable. Thanks for the video
@RCKnockout2 жыл бұрын
Your welcome! It’s definitely not setup to be a basher…at least not stock
@jaydeni64422 жыл бұрын
why you try using a cheap brushless system? Since it is the Cheapest Traxxas stampede project
@RCKnockout2 жыл бұрын
That’s the plan

You need a rebuild able BRUSHED motor. You have a budget truck video. You need to stick with a budget truck video. You already have the speed control for the motor. $15-$35 and done. You need to take the stock motor and take it apart and show people why it failed. Compare it to a rebuildable brushed motor and show the difference. You will see on how the brushes are set up. The stock motor is complete garbage. Buy some gears. You don't need a brushless to go fast. Every utuber has a video on a brushless. Plus it brings a $180+ to the truck. Why not just buy one with the brushless. Show people that they can have a great truck on a real budget.

This makes sense. I’d watch this.

@@brothertax there are SO many options with a brushed motor. Stock, modified, 9t-50t motors. So much cheaper. I run a 27t triple stock in my stampede. It's way faster then stock setup and so far I never been passed by a brushless in a race. It cost me $25. I could go way faster with a 17t single hand wound modified. Rebuildable stock motors are the way to go on a budget. Plus you can show what happens when you add a silver brush or full copper brush, or half cut, cavity cut and so on. It endless on how you can tune the brushed motors.
