“Risky Business” is a newer/lesser known trail at Sand Hollow (rated 8 for difficulty). High level of skill/experience required. There is no sign at the entrance. Watch our intro for directions.
It is a very unique trail for several reasons:
1 - Every major rock obstacle has sand at the base of the rocks, which changes each time you do the trail and can add difficulty.
2- It only has probably 5 obstacles, but all are difficult and require a very precise line. In between the obstacles is mostly a dirt/sand road.
3- This trail finishes right in the middle of Milt’s Mile Trail (7 rated), so they are usually ran back to back.
4- Every major obstacle has a really easy bypass.
(Most people do the trail as we did, finishing and turning out to meet up with Milts Mile - the official trail continues straight, instead of a left hand turn out towards Milt’s)
Royce - 2019 RZR Turbo S Dynamix. 35” Maxxis Roxxzilla tires- sticky compound, HSP Seats, System 3 wheels, 33% low gear gear reduction, SSS skid plate, Rugged Radios.
Eric - 2019 Kawasaki Teryx 4. PRP Seats, 32” Sedona Rockabilly Tires, System 3 wheels, SSS skid plate, FTGU clutching, HCR long travel, King shocks, Rugged Radios.

12% on the overall gear and then extra 20% lower in low, so 30-33% lower in low. Scott Kartchner in UT did it
@kylecrouch8038
@kylecrouch8038 3 жыл бұрын
@@OffCamberInd Do you feel that is low enough for 33s? I think there is an option for high 40% or low 50%... Something like that. We live in Central California and do alot of crawling but also fire roads and desert/dunes. So that eliminated portals.
