Sand Rail Build from scratch with Salvaged Tesla

beginning stages of tearing down a salvaged Tesla model S to put in my Sand Rail built from scratch. The plan is to use most of the car including motors, batteries, wiring, seats, brakes and much more to make this Sand Rail Awesome! Bare with me with this first boring video; Things will get more exciting and badass I promise.

Cool project. Got my own project oddly similar to yours. I have an old VW bug planning to become a prerunner. I'd like it to have tube chassis, long travel suspension, electric axial AC motors, one per wheel, making it AWD, with regenerative braking. Batteries and controllers where the motor and transmission originally goes, rear suspension outside the body so that it's a 4 seater still. Can't wait to go to the dunes with it

getstuk i have the front and rear motor loosely mocked up in the frame with very little good footage of any of it. Working the cameras plus editing is a whole ‘nother job within the build so im pretty lazy about it. I’ll try and post something else soon.
