I often feel the same way. But his Facebook and Twitter accounts are always on fire, and they often post clips of his floor speeches. Not many people seem to check out his KZbin channel to see the full speeches. I guess we're some of the few. :)

This is why I love Bernie. He is clear and honest and doesn't hold back against bad legislation. Bernie would have won.. thanks a lot DNC this man speaking here would have been one of the best presidents in history. yeah, one of the few politicians talking sense, and the chamber is vacant.....speaks volumes I remember seeing Bernie on c-span for many years, with barely any colleagues present, be it in the House or Senate. Especially appreciate his floor speeches before the Iraq war, if we had it his way hundreds of thousands wouldn't be dead, Americans among them plus the trillions of $ wasted. At least more of the people are listening to him now, some progress there.

I am not an American and do not know the habits so well. But this is disrespectful, ignorant and humiliating. Perhaps some do not want to hear about their crimes (the Republicans), but at least the Democrats should be present. What a degenerate gang of politocrats. I keep reading comments like, 'Sanders is a joke and he's not much better than the others.' As far as I know, he's been fighting for the same goals, for you Americans. Many try to discredit Bernie, from all corners they shoot at him. For me, he is one of the most eminent politicians of the time. I wish we had a Bernie Sanders in Germany!

Universal Healthcare Is Obligated as far as my concern is involving the interpretation of the clause of the declaration of independence because it's what fully and wholly *Protects the General Welfare*

To be completely fair, the Declaration of Independence doesn't hold any legal merit (except in very specific instances) so its interpretation is irrelevant in regards to Universal Healthcare. But I completely agree with you that Universal Healthcare should be provided for the people.

I've always thought of Bernie Sanders as one of the only politicians who understands how important his important his job is to the future of the country, the morality, values, and capabilities of the average citizen of this country, and how easily the influence of money can fuck things up to hell. In other words, Bernie Sanders seems to be one of the only members of Congress who actually talks to and/or gives a shit about said average person. The fact that he isn't a fascist or a bible-thumping fundamentalist also helps.

There's a common talking point that Mr. Sanders' campaign was an appeal to an ignorant crowd of millennials using "socialist propaganda." This video, more than anything, proves that false. Bernie is very clearly a man who speaks his own mind (not the mind of corporations backing him) even when the general public and his voters aren't watching.

I feel that republicans is gonna leave the country right after they pass the bill and never comeback. They have no plan to counter the aftermath.
