It's not $, Tenn has set he and his family up with a great situation. Word is it's a few things - OSU's medical school, which they really love, OL development and what OSU has done at LT specifically, and the relationship he and his family have with Paris Johnson and his family.

Would you guys stop with the med school stuff. He can’t get into med school as an undergrad. He will have to go a program like biology, a type of chemistry, etc., before he even applies for med school. If he’s as good as his ranking then he’s gone in three years and never steps foot in med school.
@Zinter19848 күн бұрын
@ It’s smart to check your boxes if you’re an academic centric family, plenty of football careers don’t go as planned. If pre med resources are important to them, it’s smart to lean into it hard if you’re trying to recruit him.

Pertaining to how NIL should be handled in the future. There should be some type of contract that the player stay for 2-3 years and have it only be voided if the head coach or lead coordinator leave or if the player isn’t getting a certain percentage of snaps on his side of the ball after two years. If that didn’t happen then they have to sit out a year like previously was the standard.
@alanm038 күн бұрын
Then, coaches should be held to the same standard.

Our poor offensive performances this year has allowed doubt to creep into the minds of some of our top recruits. Heupel needs to bring in some fresh offensive ideas to combat the negative recruiting that his system is no longer innovative. He is in danger of falling into the Fulmer trap of promoting within instead of replacing underperforming assistant coaches.

Hey, listen up SEC fans. I've got something to say that you might not like. The reason your conference has been on top for the past decade is because you've been paying players under the table. But now that it's legal to pay players, the big boys in the big cities, like Ohio State, can buy their players too, and they're doing it legally. So, the SEC won't be dominating anymore. They won't have the advantage of money anymore. Everyone knows about those Alabama churches and the money they've been handing out to recruits.
